mdom 10-12-2019 01:04 PM

hehe clava herculis is a nice tree name.

littl3chocobo 10-12-2019 01:49 PM

*nods* it is. makes me think of a buff greek lady

Biomecha 10-12-2019 03:21 PM

It's another name for Hercules club, so not far off. Are there buff goddesses?

mdom 10-12-2019 10:51 PM

Artemis!! Since she's the goddess of the hunt and stuff

Biomecha 10-12-2019 11:06 PM

Ohh, so Diana is the Roman version. And greyhounds seem to be used with her imagery.

mdom 10-13-2019 01:13 AM

I only say greek names |D to honor the degree and stuff.

You're the texan version of Artemis

Biomecha 10-13-2019 01:30 AM

I'm not into hunting or wilderness though.

mdom 10-13-2019 01:40 AM

Well, you do live in the wilderness...
You hunt in a modern way, by going grocery shopping

Moi 10-13-2019 01:53 AM

Very true, mdom. I found a bunch of meat in this cold area! I was going to hunt cows and stuff, but the meat was already pieced out and waiting for me.

Then, I had to do this stupid thing called pay.

mdom 10-13-2019 02:33 AM

The modern day weapons used for hunting are cash, credit card, paypal.

Moi 10-13-2019 04:46 AM

Those three are OP, can we nerf them a bit?

Death by Mirrors 10-13-2019 05:58 AM

and have the average price of a coffee be like

littl3chocobo 10-13-2019 09:07 AM

well, you can still be artemis if you like pretty girls XD she's also low-key the goddess of being hella lesbian

heck, if only coffee were so cheap here XD

mdom 10-13-2019 10:46 AM

good thing Mugabe died |D

Inflation nerfs the weapons naturally

Biomecha 10-13-2019 07:15 PM

If grocery shopping equals hunting, then everyone is basically a god/goddess.

mdom 10-13-2019 09:14 PM

But you live in the wilderness and have greyhounds :P
so you guide the shoppers

Biomecha 10-14-2019 02:51 AM

Just an Italian Greyhound. Not really good for hunting like their larger counterpart.

Can I guide the shoppers into the freezer?

Death by Mirrors 10-14-2019 04:18 AM

In theory yes, but they don't taste well. Trust me.

mdom 10-14-2019 10:51 PM

Aw man, that would've solved world hunger!

Biomecha 10-15-2019 03:00 AM

Is it because you microwaved them when ready to eat? Maybe pan trying will work better.

mdom 10-15-2019 01:06 PM

Microwaved stuff is always worse
except for 3min noodles

Biomecha 10-15-2019 07:29 PM

It's still good for other things, especially reheating. I can't imagine not using one.

mdom 10-15-2019 07:37 PM

*cooked microwaved stuff is worse xD

reheating is perfect

Biomecha 10-15-2019 07:59 PM

They're good for cooking frozen vegetables. And some fresh.

mdom 10-15-2019 08:20 PM

Won't fresh vegetables be all mushy?

littl3chocobo 10-15-2019 11:03 PM

reheating is the ideal use for a microwave

mdom 10-16-2019 08:59 AM

And also popcorn in a bag. So much easier than doing it in a pot

Moi 10-16-2019 01:26 PM

Hey everyone :D

mdom 10-16-2019 04:47 PM

Hey Moi_!!

Biomecha 10-16-2019 06:13 PM

It depends on the vegetable, like more fibrous ones can do fine. People do whole potatoes, but not sure how that compares to the oven method.

mdom 10-16-2019 07:16 PM

How many hours does that take?

Biomecha 10-16-2019 07:30 PM

Not sure, don't really eat potatoes myself. Probably more like minutes.

mdom 10-17-2019 11:19 AM

Whaat how can you live without potatoes!! What about sweet potatoes!!

Biomecha 10-17-2019 11:46 AM

I'm not that into potatoes but sweet potatoes are okay. I'd just rather get my calories from protein or fat, or better vegetables like squash.

mdom 10-17-2019 04:33 PM

Pumpkins and courgettes are types of squash, the internet tells me

I am the person who could live from potatoes and butter

Biomecha 10-17-2019 04:58 PM

Yeah, pumpkin is a winter squash which are the types I prefer. Such as butternut, kabocha, acorn, spaghetti, and delicata. There are other good ones, but they seem harder to find.

Do you use the courgettes term instead of zucchini? Yellow zucchini and yellow squash are good roasted.

mdom 10-17-2019 05:02 PM

Don't mess with me!! Spaghetti is pasta, not a vegetable!!

I use things intermittently, depending on what I remember

Vivianne 10-17-2019 05:29 PM

Oh, now I have a butternut squash craving. I think I tried some last year with red onion and thyme. It was very flavorful like that.

Zucchini I eat with eggs.

I generally dislike potato, even the sweet kind.

mdom 10-17-2019 05:31 PM

What is this potato hating squad forming in my thread xD

Maybe it's a gene that whoever is into potatoes isn't into squash xD

Vivianne 10-17-2019 05:38 PM

I like mashed potatoes fine, but I need a lot of gravy. Baked potatoes are too dry for me, but I guess I should have used butter to fix that.

My parents like both sweet potatoes and squash.

But they also like eggplant, so I question their judgement.
