hehe clava herculis is a nice tree name.
*nods* it is. makes me think of a buff greek lady
It's another name for Hercules club, so not far off. Are there buff goddesses?
Artemis!! Since she's the goddess of the hunt and stuff
Ohh, so Diana is the Roman version. And greyhounds seem to be used with her imagery.
I only say greek names |D to honor the degree and stuff.
You're the texan version of Artemis |
I'm not into hunting or wilderness though.
Well, you do live in the wilderness...
You hunt in a modern way, by going grocery shopping |
Very true, mdom. I found a bunch of meat in this cold area! I was going to hunt cows and stuff, but the meat was already pieced out and waiting for me.
Then, I had to do this stupid thing called pay. |
The modern day weapons used for hunting are cash, credit card, paypal.
Those three are OP, can we nerf them a bit?
and have the average price of a coffee be like
well, you can still be artemis if you like pretty girls XD she's also low-key the goddess of being hella lesbian
heck, if only coffee were so cheap here XD |
good thing Mugabe died |D
Inflation nerfs the weapons naturally |
If grocery shopping equals hunting, then everyone is basically a god/goddess.
But you live in the wilderness and have greyhounds :P
so you guide the shoppers |
Just an Italian Greyhound. Not really good for hunting like their larger counterpart.
Can I guide the shoppers into the freezer? |
In theory yes, but they don't taste well. Trust me.
Aw man, that would've solved world hunger!
Is it because you microwaved them when ready to eat? Maybe pan trying will work better.
Microwaved stuff is always worse
except for 3min noodles |
It's still good for other things, especially reheating. I can't imagine not using one.
*cooked microwaved stuff is worse xD
reheating is perfect |
They're good for cooking frozen vegetables. And some fresh.
Won't fresh vegetables be all mushy?
reheating is the ideal use for a microwave
And also popcorn in a bag. So much easier than doing it in a pot
Hey everyone :D
Hey Moi_!!
It depends on the vegetable, like more fibrous ones can do fine. People do whole potatoes, but not sure how that compares to the oven method.
How many hours does that take?
Not sure, don't really eat potatoes myself. Probably more like minutes.
Whaat how can you live without potatoes!! What about sweet potatoes!!
I'm not that into potatoes but sweet potatoes are okay. I'd just rather get my calories from protein or fat, or better vegetables like squash.
Pumpkins and courgettes are types of squash, the internet tells me
I am the person who could live from potatoes and butter |
Yeah, pumpkin is a winter squash which are the types I prefer. Such as butternut, kabocha, acorn, spaghetti, and delicata. There are other good ones, but they seem harder to find.
Do you use the courgettes term instead of zucchini? Yellow zucchini and yellow squash are good roasted. |
Don't mess with me!! Spaghetti is pasta, not a vegetable!!
I use things intermittently, depending on what I remember |
Oh, now I have a butternut squash craving. I think I tried some last year with red onion and thyme. It was very flavorful like that.
Zucchini I eat with eggs. I generally dislike potato, even the sweet kind. |
What is this potato hating squad forming in my thread xD
Maybe it's a gene that whoever is into potatoes isn't into squash xD |
I like mashed potatoes fine, but I need a lot of gravy. Baked potatoes are too dry for me, but I guess I should have used butter to fix that.
My parents like both sweet potatoes and squash. But they also like eggplant, so I question their judgement. |
