Like you turning into a tiger?
|
something like that, yes.
|
*Pops in for a minute*
Sharknado eat your heart out. Here's the over-the-top fish science fiction horror disaster movie: Gyo Sing it with me now; Robot Fish, Robot fish Rotten, Stinkin' Robot Fish With a Tok-tok, Scream-scream Fa-la-la-la-lah We're the legs on your fish! (This has been an update from Law on life. I seriously love the bizarre stuff Ito comes up with. Edit: Okay, maybe just stick with the manga) |
Law, the movie turned out not as good as you hoped?
Trystan, what tiger is that? |
it's the Painted Tiger DI for january. it's the one that sits behind the avi if there's a person there.
|
Ahah! I see. LOL Dream pet of millions.
Wow. I like that green Riding hood background. lol |
all the DIs are really cool!
but all i had were 20 runes, which i had to wisely spend. =) |
XD I hear you.
|
I'm flying home in the morning. I'll do my best to check in during my layover if I have more than 30 minutes to wait

Now, bright side spoilers The themes repeated through the movie are incredibly strong, and better shown. Inspired by the mystery of the horror - never explored in the manga - the characters seek a sense of "Truth". The idea of never letting a loved one go or suffer on their own. The acceptance of a loved one's passing. Such things make the story more hopeful (and human) despite being more gory and squeamish visually than the original work. Ito (and most horror writers) tend to forget exploring such things. I am glad the OVA did otherwise. |
Aww. Yeah, and sometimes the scariness of a visual work can make the goodness of a story stick with you more.
I avoid stories with sex though, so that one's not for me. XD |
I just don't care for gore. or jump scares. So most "scary" stuff older than 1993 or so is not that terribly scary to me, but that does rule out the "Halloween", "Nightmare on Elm Street", and "Friday the Thirteenth" series for me. That being said, B-grade horror like the "Puppet Master" series is more amusing than anything to me.
Though, to be fair, "Jurassic Park" scared the ever-loving Fell out of me when I was a kid. |
Yeah...I try to avoid such things. But the themes convinced me to mute and work on something else. Let the movie get it out of its system.
Anyway...tigers. |
here there be tigers?
also, i have an extra Toby the cat, and i know people have said they were looking for cats. let me know if you want Toby. |
10 runes for a cat?
|
Law - uhm, sure, ok.
|
Once more I have lost my mind. Has anyone seen it?
|
i lost mine a long time ago. i don't regret it. =)
|
Well, it isn't on my pillow (took a cat nap due to head)
Have you tried your pockets? |
*looking up recipes for baked brie, will make that for dinner tomorrow night*
|
No pocketses.
Trust me, Trys. One needs a FEW marbles to function. *bibbles and walks into a wall* 'Marooned' |
I generally lose my marbles the night before conventions or shows... or the night before a trip.
|
XD Different kind of marble loss.
Oh, and the link is supposed to be a book suggestion for the library. I enjoyed that story. |
It's still losing my marbles. lol
|
well then i have only those few important marbles left! LOL!
|
I have dice instead of marbles. >.>
Harder for them to roll away, but on a 20... |
yeah, but those 20-sided dice *can* roll away....
|
Nuts...and I had to trade my eyes for that upgrade, too. D:
@Tam - And adding... |
well, the 4-sided dice don't roll away at all....
|
But 20 is like 5 fours, right? 5x better?
(I actually am not sure if that works - if the weight and shape of different die translates/affects probability. I could likely find out, but am too tired to do so at the moment) |
well, sure, in theory 20 is 5x better/more than 4.
(also, the 12-sided roll better than the 10-sided, but i think the 20-sided roll the best.) |

yeah, i can see how that could be the case.
|
You guys have not seen me with dice, I can't even keep them in a box half of the time. ^^;
|
For those who are into gaming and miniatures, or just want something to better visualize how a character looks: Hero Forge. I've even managed to make a miniature that looks a lot like me (though not as pudgy, which is kind of disappointing).
|
I made a mini, which is neat, it's like a demonling or something, so I bookmarked that site. really neat. :3
|
I just wish they weren't so expensive. I'd love to have miniatures of all of my DT characters.
|
I was looking at what ones would be best for painting, and bronze was, but its like $100 a figure! *chokes and keels over*
