Tea! I've just finished my third cup today and am having some water after to counter the caffeine somewhat, even though it was decaf. I've had to tone down my usual strength of tea because of doctors griping at me, and I switched to decaf at night because I have trouble sleeping and anything might help. Strong tea certainly does *not* help, at any rate.

yeah after awhile I dunno I don't get sick from coffee or anything but just can't seem to drink it lol so I take a break and drink tea, I'm currently just drinking a cheap black tea with milk and sugar, I love tea like that before bed. Caffeine doesn't do anything to keep me awake, unless I have energy drinks then I go stoopid. But coffee doesn't keep me awake at all. Even cafe coffee as I mostly drink instant crap at home.

Heh. The bulk of what I have (as in drink) is cheap black tea, but I have my fancy stuff around when I feel like dealing with leaves instead of bags. Today I had some Cream Earl Grey to go my usual miscellaneous black, and miscellaneous black decaf.

lol yeah I sometimes splurge but can't be bothered using a tea pot though I've been told it is better, makes tea tastes stronger, but eh lol I struggle with making good green tea, its bitter in the end I must brew it too long

Yeah. Green tea only needs a couple minutes. I have some stuff that threatens to go instantly bitter if it's brewed for more than 1 minute. I sit there with a timer.
I forget about my tea all the time so it can sit for half an hour plus. I don't drink it anymore when I do that. I hate wasting but the acid and such in it when that happens isn't good for me. |
lol yeah if I leave my coffee and it goes cold I give it to my other half he loves drinking cold coffee where as I can't stand it rofl though I can drink luke warm tea but not coffee. What do you think of roibos tea? I think I've spelled that one wrong, I like it but only the red one.

Roiboos (I think that's right but I'm not sure either) I'm not generally fond of but I have a couple to try. One is a creme tea with rhubarb and another "Rainbow Roiboos" that has fruit and such I think. Roiboos is called "red tea" or "red bush tea" (as opposed to green, white, black, etc). Red I think is the plain stuff but I don't know enough about it to know if there are different types. I've heard of "honeybush" but I'm not sure if it's the same stuff. It's an herbal tea, so some hoity toity tea only stores around here don't sell it. My sister and a few friends all like the stuff.
Why is this not in my tea thread?! I suppose it works here too. ;) |
