yeah, he won't be getting tuna with me, it's bad for kitties. But he might get salmon...but good, was worried for my beta bois.
and soooooo frustrated, need a slew of shoes for my upcoming cosplays and I really, really want to find them second hand but no luck in like seven stores.

Echo-chan713 01-18-2012 07:56 PM

Angel Spirit Girl 01-18-2012 11:03 PM

Cute panda picture cover. <3

Echo-chan713 01-18-2012 11:21 PM

I know I made the picture then I took it over to a tablet cover company and got it made for $35 no tax and no shipping charges so it was just $35 my case is actually an ipad1 but my tablet is an ipad2 but it still fits either way as well as ipad1 cases are cheaper than the 2nd ne I don't know why.

All in all they did great and got it here within 7-10 business days

NikkoGallarado 01-19-2012 03:17 AM

That's nice that you got that for your ipad.

Echo-chan713 01-19-2012 10:38 AM

Thank you and I'm bringing it to wasabi for Internet like comissions

Fey 01-19-2012 11:48 AM

yay for customized stuff! that's awesome, even more so that you did the art
<- is artistically inept

Echo-chan713 01-19-2012 11:50 AM

Lol and I got it for cheap considering it's custom

Fey 01-19-2012 11:50 AM

always a nice side bonus :)

Echo-chan713 01-19-2012 12:20 PM

It is I've always wanted a custom iPad cover but not for $50 so I got the iPad 1 custom cover for $35 and it still fits in my iPad 2

NikkoGallarado 01-19-2012 02:03 PM

Yeah plan on getting one for con to help me keep track of things.

Echo-chan713 01-19-2012 10:48 PM

same here for artist alley

NikkoGallarado 01-19-2012 11:28 PM

Yeah Ed has the table panels and other things lined up.

Fey 01-20-2012 12:24 PM

If I feel all motivated and shit can I horn in on a small patch o' your table Nikko? I don't know if I will actually get anything done(cause, well, motivation) but still. They'd be small, and I'd be willing to take a turn at manning it.

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 02:00 PM

Sure I'll see what we can do Fey.

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 05:28 PM

I still have yet to sew because I've been so busy with work

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 06:01 PM

I am busy with things for the con so I hardly have time for anything.

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 06:11 PM

I was going to get fabric at Joann's but its in the process of moving so there's nothing left and my fye in Foco is going out of business

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 06:16 PM

That is sad to hear Echo/

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 06:24 PM

But I can always go my Walmart that has fabric. As well as Hancock fabric

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 06:29 PM

Always good thing to know you have another place that you can go to get the things you need.

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 07:08 PM

Yea like patterns and fabric I'm trying to figure out what fabric I should use for chuck that won't put me in a heat stroke

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 07:13 PM

Well you can always look for a light cotton or any other kind of light fabric.

Angel Spirit Girl 01-20-2012 07:21 PM

One does have to choose fabrics carefully.

I was thinking of that, but when the style is a footie pajama like then I was thinking of fleece but it would be too hot to wear it

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 07:30 PM

Not in the middle of March if we still have snow.

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 07:36 PM

And the fact that there's heating in the hotel

NikkoGallarado 01-20-2012 07:43 PM

Meh it all depends but you can always use a wool or just cotton the cotton would be a little warm but not to bad.

Fey 01-20-2012 10:08 PM

You can easily use fleece, just make sure you get the right kind. If you look around there's usually three sorts, Anti-pill fleece, artic fleece, and just 'normal' fleece. Avoid the first two and you'll not roast too badly as long as you don't line it. The other two are treated materials/thicker so you will find they keep in heat a lot more.

I'm not lining it at all...and where do you get Normal fleece?

Fey 01-20-2012 10:56 PM

most fabric stores will carry all three, you just have to read teh labels to figure out which are which. You'd probably have better luck at Hancock or Joann's over WAlly world

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 11:02 PM

Ok I can go to wally world for it

Fey 01-20-2012 11:19 PM

please to re-read what I wrote.
you probably WON'T find it at wally world.

Echo-chan713 01-20-2012 11:22 PM

ok, there's a Hancock Fabric at least 5 blocks away

NikkoGallarado 01-21-2012 12:46 AM

So I have one cosplay I am trying work bloodying up Japan.

Fey 01-21-2012 10:25 AM

I still have no idea what other cosplays to wear/bring....and I can't, just can't, wear one costume three days LOL

Echo-chan713 01-21-2012 11:15 AM

Oh BTW, are we doing the Black Butler Murder Tea Party at Wasabi this year?

NikkoGallarado 01-21-2012 03:19 PM

It's not Black Butler this year the theme is to change every year.

Angel Spirit Girl 01-21-2012 08:59 PM

What's the new theme this year?

Fey 01-21-2012 09:38 PM

::is also curious::
OH, and I will remember to bring our electric kettle for you guys, this way you won't need to run like crazy people for (as much) water.
