Public transportation is not that fun to take.

I haven't checked into buses here.
A taxi is too expensive so I am afraid to find
out what the bus costs...

Buses are cheaper but the routes are static...

Angel Spirit Girl 06-30-2012 10:36 PM

I just HAD to get some of these cute scrapbooking craft supplies at Walmart today.

femme gauche 06-30-2012 10:53 PM

Oh, I know that feeling >_>. But not for scrapbooking.

Angel Spirit Girl 07-01-2012 10:23 PM

I like paper crafts. <3

Fiber crafts are fun, too.

Echo-chan713 07-02-2012 11:54 AM

I crochet, rarely knit, I sew, I draw, I seldom paint

femme gauche 07-02-2012 11:56 AM

That's cool, I've been crocheting a lot more than knitting lately. Just because of the convenience and speed of it. Don't sew all that much but perhaps if the sewing machine were more versatile I might.

Echo-chan713 07-02-2012 11:58 AM

same here and I use one hand to crochet instead of two. I remember sewing bows, a beanie hat, a pillow and a scarf.

femme gauche 07-02-2012 12:03 PM

Still use two hands to crochet; one is required to hold the yarn. For me anyway... But I only like to crochet lace and motifs and stuff; I don't really like regular crocheted fabric, the look or the feel.

Echo-chan713 07-02-2012 12:09 PM

I use a finger to hold the yarn. I crochet mostly novelties like Mochis from Hetalia.

Angel Spirit Girl 07-02-2012 09:53 PM

Oh! Jewelry and beads are another craft I really like.

Ginger 07-03-2012 05:55 PM

Beads are fun to work with. I like those Kandy bracelets a lot.

Angel Spirit Girl 07-03-2012 09:22 PM

The ones made with candy? *Checks.*

No, Ones made of pony beads for raves. Cool.

Ginger 07-04-2012 01:51 AM

Yes, those! I love how bright and colorful they are

Echo-chan713 07-04-2012 09:08 AM

I remember the cheerio bracelets (yea we had cheerios because it was around the time when they were trying to make their kids healthy and candy bracelets were a no no)

Angel Spirit Girl 07-04-2012 10:38 PM

Hee hee! I liked Cheerios. <3 Yummm!

I happened to have loved those candy necklaces. <3 Double yumm!

Ginger 07-12-2012 03:47 AM

I seem to have forgotten about candy necklaces. I will have to get me some! I'm sure the dollar store has them. For me it's the best place to get candy 'cause it's cheap, and I like cheap <3

Angel Spirit Girl 07-12-2012 08:15 PM

I think I remember seeing them there. Yup. Candy for cheap is good. <3

Ginger 07-12-2012 11:09 PM

Would gardening be considered a hobby? Maybe I will attempt a gardening hangout.

Saiyouri 07-13-2012 01:01 PM

I would say it's a hobby.

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•.

Angel Spirit Girl 07-13-2012 10:58 PM

It sounds like a cool hangout. <3

I like flowers and herbs.

femme gauche 07-20-2012 04:17 PM

I have a Five Below near my house. It isn't a dollar store, it's a $5 or less store, but they have a bunch of cheap candy, and some that are a little more different like japanese and german candies.

Angel Spirit Girl 07-20-2012 10:17 PM

That sounds like interesting stuff. I like seeing imported candy.

femme gauche 07-20-2012 10:19 PM

Yeah. And I've gotten ramune from there before. I kept the bottle, of course. If you are familiar with it you understand why. Only a couple of flavors, but hey, it's cool.

Echo-chan713 07-21-2012 09:15 PM

I finally finished my kandi mask XD

femme gauche 07-21-2012 09:16 PM

Kandi mask? What's that?

Ginger 07-21-2012 09:17 PM

I wanna see it *o*

Echo-chan713 07-22-2012 09:25 AM

I need to charge my camera battery

Angel Spirit Girl 07-22-2012 09:49 PM

I can't wait to see a pic of it.

I bought some stuff to make a mask and headwings yesterday as I said elsewhere. Plus I bought some hemp string for beading and friendship bracelets.

Today I bought some E size beads. The tubes were of mixed colors, so I sorted them out.

I found a forum online that tells you how
to go about making your own nail polish.
So now I have to read it and go and search for
all the items I need and make a list of prices
so I can start buying them here and there and
start to have a ton of fun ^_^ I so can't wait.
So happy I found myself a new craft to play
with hehe.

Echo-chan713 07-23-2012 09:51 AM

I found a pony bead wholesaler that sells a good amount of beads for like super cheap

27th Ave TubHead 07-23-2012 09:56 AM

Wow, everyone seems to be on a roll! Awesome! Hehe? I am a little stagnant right now, crafts-wise, because all of my equipment is in boxes or disorganized, so I have to hold off a biit. Still, I am making something which I think will be a granny-style (crochet) blanket/afghan, but I am improvising the design, haha.... just to use up some of my 100% acrylic yarns since I am trying not to buy any more of them but I have a bit of a cache.

Echo-chan713 07-23-2012 09:56 AM

I'm the type that gets a project started but fail to finish it

Saiyouri 07-23-2012 03:58 PM

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•.

Aww I'm sorry to hear that Echo hun. I hope you
can finish this project.

Well for me since I have so much energy today. I might
make a couple calls for doctors today and then read up
on what I need to make my nail polish and start working
on finding sellers for the things I need. So can't wait
to start it up!!! *bounces around the house*

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•.

27th Ave TubHead 07-23-2012 06:20 PM

I have that problem as well, about starting so many projects that I can't finish. I will go in spurts of feverishly finishing things, or making progress on bigger projects, or scrapping the things that I have decided not to finish.

Saiyouri 07-23-2012 06:45 PM

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•.

Thats good to hear Femme. I'm glad that you
at least make some head way on your projects. At least you
are taking care of them some how. Like the mobile account.
That is pretty cool idea to do.^^

Echo-chan713 07-23-2012 06:56 PM

now i need to find my connector and i'm at mixed feelings right now since I now got an extra camera battery and my whole routine schedule got screwed over because of a co workers procrastination

Saiyouri 07-23-2012 06:59 PM

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•.

How did they do that to you Echo? *hugs* I'm
sorry to hear that. At least you have a
extra battery in case something happens to the
other one. I hope you can find the connector.
