I know right? I mean, I'm not into chicks but I think if someone else is, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to get married. they're going to have a relationship anyway, so why not offer basic human rights? D;

Ah, I thought so. But I wasn't sure. I might make some on the weekend then.

Hermes 09-23-2010 12:47 AM

@ Lucid - Because, according to many people, it will cause horrible things equivalent to Satan himself rising and bringing hell with him and forcing everyone to copulate with animals. I'm not joking, that really is how some people view it, and it is disgusting. People like that...they need not breed, ever.

@ Antigone - Why thank you~

@ Logan - I'm as straight as a rainbow ;D (AKA, bi <.<)

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:47 AM

Wicked ::: yay for flowers!
XD *Starts weaving flower chains*
*fails horrible*
Ahhh! I have never been able to do this.. My nimble fingers just can not do such work!
:( *Frowns*

Perfectly Wicked 09-23-2010 12:48 AM

Lucifer...
They're.. Umm.. Magic flowers, that grow roots once they touch earth.
Ttly.

aurorah 09-23-2010 12:49 AM

I say, let people be happy. Never said anywhere that people couldn't love whoever they want. Not even in that piece of fiction people lug around with them. Hopefully no one will take offense to this. I believe in a higher power, just not that particular one.

We'll not worry about it. As that would make us unhappy.

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:50 AM

*Hugs Hermes tightly* I'm not letting go now. Hehe
You're too wonderful to let go of.
*giggles*

Logan :: ohhhhh!!! I like your wings <3

Lucid: 09-23-2010 12:51 AM

well, there IS that whole "keep the sabbath day holy" commandment... >.>

I like going to church every week because I learn a lot, and I think it would be harder to believe in it if I was just doing it on my own. plus I learn a whole lot about really neat scripturey things. I like it. like today in my Book of Mormon class, we talked about how much of the Bible had been adapted and changed and removed before it was ever translated into english, before the Catholic church was ever formed, and it was super interesting. Like how the bible refers to other parts of itself that don't exist and stuff.

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:51 AM

WIcked ::: Magic flowers???
And can you weave them? Anti fails horribly.

erg. it's so early but I'm so sleepy. I stayed up too late last night. ;~; I'm off to bed. goodnight everyone!

Hermes 09-23-2010 12:52 AM

@ Aurorah - If you believe it is fiction, fine, but I do not consider it to be fiction, at its base, and would appreciate if you would not call it as much ^^;

What about the fact that the bible mentions things from other older religions like Jesus to Osiris(I think it was Osiris?) and such and many other religion's deities were either made into saints in the christian faith, or ostracized and demonized..

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:53 AM

Hermes ::: haha I just caught your thing on "straight as a rainbow"
In highschool my friends always said "Yeah A rainbow is straighter then her"
Because they thought I was a lesbian. >.<

People are entitled to their opinion. I will call it as I please, but I mean no disrespect to those in the religion. To me it's fiction, to you it's a part of the fundamental belief. It's best to just leave it at that. Besides, I'm not talking about the majority of the religion when I talk that way. Only the select few that ruin it for others.

I love the history that is connected to the Bible!
When you learn about the culture of the time, it makes much more sense.
Pretty interesting. xD

Rosekitten 09-23-2010 12:54 AM

~prods a little at the thread~ o.o;

Sora 09-23-2010 12:54 AM

Howdy again everybody.

Hermes 09-23-2010 12:54 AM

Lucid, my best friend is from Utah, and he informs me, and I quote: "I feel your pain, Lucid. O__O"

@ Antigone - AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA XD

@ Aurorah - You mean the majority of people in Christianity? If so...AMEN XD But still....It is better to say that you consider it fiction than just to call it fiction....that IS rather rude, I think...

Perfectly Wicked 09-23-2010 12:55 AM

Good night, Lucid!

I hope to see you tomorrow. :]

If she sees it as fiction, her her call it such, it can be considered rude, yes, but it HAS been skewed and altered over the many years, and meanings have been altered, like the word they used for virgin in the original for the virgin Mary also just mean unmarried woman.
So for the discrepancies in it and what ti says, many things could be interpreted different, for all we know, verses have totally different meanings from the common meanings of them.

Perfectly Wicked 09-23-2010 12:56 AM

Anti, they're the best magic flowers ever~

I'm betting they could even braid them selves.

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:56 AM

*Waves* Haii Rose and Sora!!!

Hermes ::: hehe I know, funny right?
Last time I saw them I decided to inform them that I was indeed bi, not lesbian. The look on their faces was priceless.

Sora 09-23-2010 12:57 AM

Howdy Antigone. How are you doing? c:

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:57 AM

Wicked ::: le gasp!
How fantastic would that be!?! *Squeals with excitement*
Yay for magic self weaving flowers.

aurorah 09-23-2010 12:57 AM

This is pretty much why I don't talk about religion with people. My beliefs are different than others and I have no problem with saying what's on my mind. Which always ruffles at least one person's feathers.

Antigone 09-23-2010 12:57 AM

Sora :: I am well
How are you?

Oh yeah!! My milk sickness is all better now ^^ Yay!!!!
Happy day!

Hermes 09-23-2010 12:57 AM

SORA! *glomple*

Antigone is bi? Oh fun XD

@ Aurorah - My feathers are not ruffled, I simply asked you to respect more than your own beliefs. Whatever...

That is awesome like crazy xD <3
I remember this girl in my JH was called a lesbian because she shaved the sides of her hair and wore it in a mohawk..
Nobody ever suspected me as bi, even though I never showed too much interest in guys there, or girls for that matter... >.>;;
I was too shy/hated myself too much there xD
