☁☂ Most likely you will be. I used to be that way and my
god did I hate that alot. I am so happy that has stopped
for me. I just have been really exhausted during the days
since it's been getting so hot out. I don't know why but
I hope it goes away soon. Today is sooo nice out. Even
though it's 81 in the house haha.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 07:31 PM

I don't mind it, to be honest. It's a little off-putting at times but otherwise I have no problem taking a nap. If I am not sitting/relaxing it doesn't really happen. I am hating the hot weather. Normally I don't love it but I deal with it, but considering we didn't have a real winter to speak of... the hot weather is even more tiresome.

☁☂Yes it is. ; ; I am so happy today is so wonderful out.
It's the first in ... forever it seems. I just hope it
stays this way for awhile because I don't want to deal
with the heat when it's time to move. ; ; At least the
new place... I so hope I get.. Has air conditioning haha.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 07:35 PM

Yeah another reason I don't like really hot days is that they make work killer busy.

☁☂ That's a good thing for my hubby's job. More trips he has.
The more money he brings home. Otherwise.. It's not
a good thing. Unless it's fun easy work hehe lol, Like
that exists.

I get paid by the hour, regardless of how many people are buying things, and we get to enjoy the fun of running out of things and dealing with people's frustration time after time, and not being able to keep up with orders or knowing where supervisors are or being able to give refunds without a supervisor around because the managers decided that the people who steal from the tills won't do so if the drawer only opens for sales... Which is great for service when refunds are needed and there's a big long line... >_>.

Lauv Keiko 06-12-2012 07:43 PM

I'm back from my early morning walk~ :D

femme gauche 06-12-2012 07:44 PM

Welcome back, Lauv.

☁☂ Ya that sounds like a fun... handful for sure Femme.

Welcome back Keiko~ I hope it was fun.

femme gauche 06-12-2012 07:47 PM

On slower days I can actually be cordial with customers, haha. I could never be a good waitress, though. It's too many things to keep track of. Yet waitressing is one of the newly-created responsibilities associated with my job...

Lauv Keiko 06-12-2012 07:48 PM

Thankies girlies~ *giggles and smooches each of you*

It was fun ^^

☁☂ That is a handful to deal with. I don't know if I can
handle that either. I hope things go well for you.

Yay *ish smooched* *snuggles Keiko* I'm glad it
was fun.

femme gauche 06-12-2012 07:49 PM

What did you do on your walk? I like them but I do'nt like just wandering the neighborhood... and yet the only thing I would "set out" to do would be to shop or eat x_o.

EDIT: Yeah Saiyouri... I have been looking for a new one so I could at the very least cut down my days at my current one (there are still benefits to having a job there even if only a few hours a week) .

Lauv Keiko 06-12-2012 07:59 PM

Walks are fun. As for me, I like walking alone because I get to think a lot. :D

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:00 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂Ya those kind of walks are amazing to have.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:01 PM

Walking alone is great, but I just don't like to wander the neighborhood XD. I'll go up on "the hill" which is a bunch of shops and stuff but behind it is a wooded path and some run-off ponds populated with well-fed ducks.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:03 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:05 PM

It's not too bad but not as pretty as you would think, because no matter where you stand you can see the backs of strip mall shops, or the expressway, or parking lots...

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:07 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:10 PM

I don't know anything else. I've lived here since I was five.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:13 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂ I get to walk around a neighborhood with houses and some shops if I walk
towards the shopping part of the town. I don't mind
it much. It's still nice to look at.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:15 PM

I could walk to the shopping part of town too but it is mostly restaurants XD. But there is a record shop I think I've been in like, once when I was much younger and didn't buy records... But it is a couple of miles so it would be quite the walk.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:17 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂Nice long walk for sure. Record
shops are nice to look at. Even if you
don't buy anything from them. Nice nogstolia
or however you spell it ~_~

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:21 PM

Nostalgia, hehe.
And I have... a grand total of four records. One single, one EP, and two full length albums. All of which I bought new, from current artists XD. One at Hot Topic, one a gift from a friend, and the other two online.
I plan on getting a record player for myself, if I ever finish my damned room. I've seen one at Target for quite some time...

Lauv Keiko 06-12-2012 08:22 PM

Nostalgia, sai sai :D

and it's a lot more fun for me if it's cloudy :) I like it when it's kinda gloomy.

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:23 PM

Yes cloudy and gloomy are generally better, so long as it doesn't start pouring. Sunny at this time of year means sunscreen, which is greasy and stings my eyes if I accidentally rub my face or something. Blegh.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:25 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂ LOl I suck at spelling ~_~

Wow Femme that is awesome. Records are so nice to listen to.
I really should see about investing in some one of these
days.

Gloomy days are perfect for walks Keiko~ So cool and relaxing.
wish we had them here... alot more often haha.

I completely agree with you Femme on that one.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:28 PM

Of course, I always use sunscreen anyway. Rather that than get super tanned or especially burned. I kind of have a perpetual farmer's tan on my arms though since I almost always wear t-shirts... It isn't like a straight line or anything, it's gradual, but... noticeable xD.

Yeah I haven't actually gotten the chance to listen to them though, evne though there is a record player in the house and it works, the speakers hooked up to it (It is part of an early stereo system that has a tape deck, a turn table, a radio, and a 5 disc changer...) are messed up or something though and it's hard to get to the wires so I don't know if they're disconnected or what.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:30 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂ Sunscreen doesn't do jack for me. I still burn with it. And I never tan..
My skin is retarded for sure!! I hate it ~_~ My
daughter is sooo tan right now and I hate it. Damn
her.. LOL.

Aww that stinks. I remember those things. Hubby's dad
had one of them. Never used the record part though.
If I tell my hubby that I want records, I know he will
buy them because he so loves those things.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:43 PM

Yeah, this stereo is my dad's. He has hundreds - maybe a couple thousand - records. Though now he mostly downloads and listens digitally. He's also converted many of his records into digital files. But he has tens of thousands of music files on his computer as well... My some 4-thousand music files and 100 or so CDs pale in comparison LOL.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:44 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂ Holy crap.. Now that is one music lover for sure.!

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:46 PM

Yes, definitely. I love music, but there is a certain amount of social exploration required to really get into more of the kind of music that I like, so I don't have as much partly because I don't go out as much or try new things as easily.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:48 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂I just try new things out here and there and end up finding alot
more artists that I like. I recently found like
6 or so new artists that I like. Found one last
night too haha.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 08:50 PM

That's cool. I can't go out and buy CDs for the things that I do perk up an interest in because they aren't in Best Buy or Target or Barnes & Noble or Meijer, haha. Those are the shops that are closest walking distance to me... Haha. So I have to buy online... which takes more, because it usually costs more, with shipping or whatever.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 08:56 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂ I am a member of a few things on twitter and facebook so I get updates on new
artists all the time and I watch a ton of videos
on youtube so I find artists all the time that I
like so I just go and look for their stuff on itunes
since it's easier to buy. Especially if I love their
stuff alot. So hard to buy most of the music I like
in stores ; ;

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 09:00 PM

Yeah I can't just settle with digital-only copies of most music. It's true that I mostly listen to music digitally, but I like to have the option to not. And quality suffers when copies are made. I also like to be able to have the physical copy of the actual presentation... But I don't like most of the stuff that comes up on the radio or "new artists" lists on iTunes or whatever. It's not that I strongly dislike it or that I don't listen to mainstream stuff, it's just that the stuff that I most like is probably going to be a little less well known, and a different style than is on those type of lists... And suggestions are best heard when it's directly from my friend or someone that I know whose tastes I know, or else associated with a band taht I already love.

Saiyouri 06-12-2012 09:37 PM

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂I listen to it on my laptop all the time and soon it will be on
the ipod when I start to take walks so buying digitally
doesn't mind me as much. Plus since we tend to get small
places we don't have the space for the cds laying around
the house anymore. I usually listen to foreign artists
more than anything. I don't really like the new ones either.
I tend to like ones out for a long time.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

femme gauche 06-12-2012 09:43 PM

Oh it's generally important to me that I know what is going on in the song, so English language... But even if it is nonsense I prefer it to be English.
