Jason was sitting at the counter making a large sandwich and glanced up. "Well I heard the slam of her bedroom door. Sounds like you'll be getting the cold shoulder for a while Leo..." He said softly and sighed before taking a bite of his food. "And if I were you I'd your opinion of luck cause I'd rather her beat the crap out of me and then be happy rather then ignore me for a week or so."

"Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling I won't be unscathed for long ..." he replied, nervously chewing on a piece of candy.

"I agree Jason but there's no way she could pummel a kid!" Leo replied with passion.

"Hey jason... Hows it going?" Darc asked.

"Oh trust me kid, she can and she will once she's worked out her anger how to kill you. Charlie is quite creative when she wants to be with weapons. That's how she got the scar on her jaw... Fighting with a werewolf in close combat so she could personally carve his heart out...." Sighing as he went back to eating. "Everything's good so far Darc."

Leo looking slightly uneasy sighed. "Aghh.. how do I get out of this mess!?" He exasperatedly asked.

"Simple" Lance walked in and sat next to Leo "i tell her you were just covering for me. Its not like she isn't already mad at me" He said laying his feet on a recliner stand "Besides i don't know charlie well and im not that bad off when it comes to money im sure if i pay for the damages like i did the kitsune incident earlier today and help clean up you will be safe"

Leo thought what Lance had said over, as much as he wanted to go along with it he decided it wasn't morally right. "Thanks Lance but I think I have to own up to this mess myself. While it seems the stupid choice I'll just have to take whatever Charlie throws at me and I know this is sounding like a big sappy monologue. WHICH I hate, I digress, it must be--" *growl* ".... What is for dinner if Charlie isn't cooking!? Seriously I've only eaten candy since I got back from Muramasa's shop.." he said wistfully.

It seemed that Zero had all the confirmation he needed by just tailing one man. The person that conducted the mass murder in the plaza was hiding here, and it was quite possibly the same person responsible for the explosion the previous day. He took to the shadows climbing the walls and infiltrating the balcony of the restaurant. Out of his collar he pulled a mini camera and looked for a place to set up the video feed trying to get a face to go with the crime.

Lance stood up smiling he didn't realize it but declining his offer was exactly the answer he wanted to here. he walked over to Leo and patted him on the shoulder with a prideful smile "You may not know it but, Just by doing that you have learned partially what it means to be honorable."

Lance walked up stairs to Charlie's door and gently knocked "Hello, Charlie? I need to speak with you about something" He was trying to be as calm as her could he didn't want to upset her anymore than she already was Charlie didn't need that.

The door slid open from between Charlie's room into the main one. "Hmmm....." Eyes narrowing she stood there flipping a silver blade in her hand. "Who are you? And what the fuck do you think you're putting on my WALL!?!" Hissing as she flicked her wrist and the silver knife stuck in the wall next to the new person's face. "Take it down or you'll have three more knives in your body this time!"

He looked at the girl, looked a the knife and then looked at the wall. His shoulders rose and fell in a shrug and rather then complying with her demands and various questions, he simply turned and ran, jumping over the balcony in which he came, using a gutter to slide down safely to the alley below.

Hissing lightly as she stalked across the room, ripping the camera down and crushing it in her fingers. "Oh man you're going to get it today." Charlie's voice echoed in the room as she started for the balcony to give chase.

Lance blinks for a second feeling ashamed that he hadn't noticed the man before. "Where did.." he was completely confused on what was going on all he knew is that this wasn't going to help charlie's mood very much "Ummm, should we go after her?" he motioned toward the balcony with his body

Lance thought for a second about what had happened the night before Charlie might try to stop him but he didn't care he was his own person the only people he listened to were his old comrades and Noelle. "Im going if your smart you'll stay here and make sure everyone stays safe" Lance quickly ran and jumped out the window into the alley where the man was standing

"Who are you and what business do you have here?" Lance wasn't gonna take the chance of a surprise attack he instantly unsheathed his sword and stood in a casual like defensive stance. "I don't like the paparazzi, So I Sure don't like you. So I have no patience answer my questions or die."

Charlie stopped as Lance spoke to her, giving him a glance and frowning as he disappeared out the balcony. "What the...." Growling softly she turned and went downstairs to get something to eat. "Stupid men... Ugh... I swear they should all just burn." Grumbling as she pushed through the door and walked past the other guys to get to the fridge.

He paused turning at the man wondering if this was how he reacted to all people. "I am tracking a dangerous creature, his tracks led to this restaurant. I am also investigating the explosion from yesterday and there is speculation that the creature is behind that as well."

Charlie was grumbling as she walked into the kitchen and saw how there was such a large group of people in her main area. "Hmmm.....Crowded.... Need another kitchen." Speaking to herself as she walked through and dumped the remains of the camera into the trash can. Shutting the lid she turned to the fridge with dull eyes and looked into the depths, holding the door open. Head tilting she hummed softly and frowned at the lack of stuff. "Need to go shopping.... Hehe maybe I can make something go boom while I shop."

Lance had a feeling the creature the man was talking about was him but he wasn't going to tell the man that he had no idea who he was or what he wanted. Lance thought up a lie and quick "I slayed the beast you speak of with my own hand. You have no need for concern on this anymore as for the explosion I have no idea who caused it but the beast did not show up till the recent incident"

Lance walked carefully into sight of the man with the camera's so that he could see Lance's face "Surely, if you are of this town you have heard of me I am the man they call the Slaughtering Kitsune one of four mercenaries that worked for the central government. Know that my word is not to be taken lightly I do not lie."

"And those mercenaries are not there any more." He said simply shaking his head, his camera discretely transmitted the image of the 'slaughtering kitsunes' face. "I must have proof this creature was slain, it does the families of the victims no good if they can not have justice." He winced at the bright light that came from the building and saw trails of smoke coming from one of the back rooms. Taking advantage of this he simply said "Your house is on fire."

Lance shrugs and shakes his head with a sense of no care about the situation "It's not my house, Besides i'm sure its just the owner being her usual rage filled self. As for the evidence all I can supply you with is the ashes and a handful of witnesses that were at the scene. It was a Lycan type and as you know you simply cannot leave the bodies lying around they tend to have tendencies to act dead" Lance raises his left hand and places it on his forehead looking down at his feet before speaking "You, know i don't quite remember telling you that you had permission to record me."

Lance was around this man's type before. He wasn't aware of the camera he was merely fishing around to see if the man would fall for it and tell him if there was one "I mean I know im just born for the camera, But that's no reason to take pictures without asking no?" The Cheshire smile appeared across Lances face "So do you have name?"

"I don't quite remember asking for permission" He said flatly. "I do not have a name Kitsune, as for the body, I require the ashes. I need to take them to the lab, they should be able to get both the beast and the human DNA strains to tell me who it is." He folded his arms across his chest. "I will wait here."

The backdoor to the restaurant opened and Charlie appeared in a halo of dark smoke. Jason could be heard inside groaning as he shoved the table off his back. "Damn Charlie.... Do something to cool your temper already would you?" He whined slightly and watched her disappear. The woman had a basket on her arm as she giggled and started down the alleyway. "Everything go boom. Tehe.... I love fire, fire loves me. We're one big happy family. With a great big boom and giggle from me for you."

Lance nodded and walked into the restaurant he walks to ted and says only these words "We have a problem, we need the ashes of a kitsune beast. Any ideas?" Lance said trying to keep his voice down from the man below "Its either that or Charlie will have to move and I don't think she is up for that." he smiled and looked from charlie back to ted "Any ideas?"

Ted groaned slightly and lifted his head as he dusted ashes off his shirt. "If I can come up with kitsune ashes then you have to clean up this mess cause I don't feel like doing it. Plus if Charlie comes back in a happy mood and sees this she'll go mad." He said simply and stood from where he sat with his back against the wall and went to a locked metal cabinet at the corner of the kitchen and produced a small jar. "Here.... This is a kitsune from a foreign land. Not as powerful, but he was just as much fun to kill."

Lance grabbed the jar and nodded jumping out into the alley to meet the man once more placing the jar in the middle of the street then taking a few steps back

"I believe this is what you are looking for, We did not know much about the Creature except that it had just recently showed up" Lance smirked and shrugged "So, I will ask that you leave us in peace lest you want to tempt my sword." He said the wicked evil smile appearing once more on his face.

Noelle wakes up a little confused at first of her surroundings before blinking to see she was in one of the beds at the restaurant. Lance must of brought her back after she had fallen asleep on him. The smell of a fire that had burned reached her nose. Sliding out of the bed, her hair falling back into it's usual style like a dark halo around her head. Not caring about finding shoes at the moment, she starts down the stairs.

Ted glanced up as sound came from the stairway at the back of the kitchen. "Ah good morning! We've had quite the excitement here so I have a cold breakfast set up in the dining area if you want to eat. The kitchen won't be usable for most of the day sadly." Smiling innocently as he stood there with sleeves rolled up over muscled arms and soot smudged on his face.

"What you all do? Try to burn down the place?" she wrinkles her nose as the smell of burnt wood reaches her nose, it was more stronger down here than upstairs. "And thanks. I'll grab something to eat and try to help you guys out after."

"Awww.... You don't have to worry about it Noelle." Smiling as he waved a hand and went to move a broken chair. "After all I have Jason and Leo here to help me out. All we have left really is to start mopping the floor and cleaning out the kitchen."

"If you say so." Noelle glances around at the damage, "Maybe I can help with lunch than?" she goes to get her breakfast..

Lance stood back away from the man and the jar and jumped onto the balcony above even if the man decided to attack he would be heavily out numbered it was fine to leave him outside alone "Charlie.. Please tell me you didn't Destroy the entire build" He said frowning as he walking into the living room and sat on the couch "Our little problem is somewhat dealt with" he said laying back and covering his eyes with his headband.

Jason appeared upstairs and tilted his head. "Hey.... I heard you come in so got a question. Can you help us fix some of the kitchen? More hands the faster it will go cause... Yeah.... Charlie really did a number. We'll have to go buy a few chairs and some stone polish for the floor."

Noelle glances at the food that was put out for breakfast and fills a bowl with cereal and milk before grabbing a banana. She finds a quiet table to sit the food down and looks out the window, watching the people rushing off to work or school. She slowly begins to eat.

Lance stood up lifting the headband up and nodded "ya sure i can" he followed Jason into the room to see the charred remains of what used to be a kitchen "Were supposed to clean this up?" a sigh escaped his mouth as he face palmed "Oh Charlie, what have you gotten use into" a frown enveloped his face "Why not just hire, people to do this?" He paused for a moment realizing what he just said.. "Oh, wait we are the people" Lance grabbed some cleaning supplies and started picking up the the scrap metal and wood. "Jeeze why doesn't Charlie clean her own mess up?"

Ted and Jason both paused long enough to stare at Lance for a moment. "Okay.... You saw her when she was mad at Leo for causing the problem in the Plaza? Do you REALLY want to see her when she finds out that she did this?" He asked with a serious expression. "And especially when we had: one the opportunity to stop her and two the chance to clean it up before she got home. Dude... This has happened before and she's terrifying." Jason nodded with a scared look as he moved to start sweeping away the remains of cabinet doors in behind the island of the kitchen.

Darc finished with his walk around town that day came back to the place, "Ummmm what in the world happened here?" He asked.

Lance shrugs his shoulders "Why should i care i don't live here" he tossed down the cleaning supplies and walked out to the living room once more.

Jason was just finishing polishing the floor as Charlie walked through the door. "Huh.... Awww.... You guys cleaned the kitchen!" She giggled lightly and ignored her clothes that were singed at the ends. "Hehe... You should see the awesome rubble at the government stations!"

Darc sat on the couch and pulled some jerky out from his cloak.

Lance sat on his chair once more pulling the headband over his eyes and sighing. He slowly started drifting off to sleep.

Charlie glanced between Darc and Lance, smiling brightly and giggled. "I'm so glad that all you guys were able to work together like a real team." Grinning as she started towards the stairs. "Aww.... Well just for this I'm going to cook you all an amazing dinner! I'll pull out all the stops." Chirping happily and dashing up the stairs to change.
