Lucid: 02-12-2011 02:44 AM

but...there's no culture in Provo. @.@

Airina 02-12-2011 02:45 AM

what did you like to do in seattle/bellevue?

Lucid: 02-12-2011 02:52 AM

well, I haven't spent a ton of time in Bellevue. but the buildings are so pretty! and I like to go around Seattle and look at the shops and the Pacific Science Center is super awesome and there's this fantastic crepe stand on 6th and Pike that is SUPER delicious and it's fun to run around and look at the silly modern art and try to guess what it's supposed to be.

Airina 02-12-2011 02:53 AM

Have you been into Salt lake?

Lucid: 02-12-2011 02:56 AM

yep. my grandparents live in Bountiful. Salt Lake isn't a real city. not like Seattle is.

Airina 02-12-2011 02:57 AM

Don't mind me but I hate seattle.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 03:02 AM

that's fine. you don't have to like it. not everyone does.

Airina 02-12-2011 03:03 AM

I like new york and chicago so much better!

Lucid: 02-12-2011 03:08 AM

I've never been to either. =( but I know I'd love New York.

Airina 02-12-2011 03:09 AM

We should go sometime.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 03:12 AM

YESSSS that would be fun. also expensive. I would love to get an advertising internship in New York though. so many big ad companies there. *w*

Airina 02-12-2011 03:13 AM

Well it would be about 400 bucks for gas, and then we could probably stay with some people from my old ward.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 03:15 AM

wait, we'd be driving there? @.@ that's a long way.

Airina 02-12-2011 03:16 AM

*rolls eyes* I did it every summer. It would be way too expensive to try to fly.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 03:17 AM

yeah, of course it would be really expensive to fly. hence my "really expensive" comment. XD

I get restless just on the drive from home to Utah, though. @.@

Airina 02-12-2011 03:18 AM

That why we play games and stuff. It's fun! I promise! And we can probably stop somewhere instead of driving straight through like my family would.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 04:03 AM

it's not so much boredom; I'd probably be quite entertained enough. but sitting in a cramped space like a car isn't too fun. I get carsick too easily sometimes, too.

Demonskid 02-12-2011 12:31 PM

2 each? send CoD trade :3

Panda 02-12-2011 12:54 PM

Okie dokie :D

Cat Paws 02-12-2011 12:59 PM

Thanks panda :3

Airina 02-12-2011 01:14 PM

Panda's naked!! And Lucid we could figure it out. Plane tickets there and back cost over 600 bucks a person. So it would be 1/3 cheaper just to drive there if we split the cost of gas. And we could go see a broadway play or two and see the statue of liberty and have loads and loads of fun with the money we would have been using on plane tickets!

Lucid: 02-12-2011 01:35 PM

YAAAAY! I have to actually save up money first though. I'm planning on saving enough from working that I won't need to get any more loans to cover school. I'm currently making more than rent and food cost, so that's a good start. C: I might get a raise after this semester, and I'm hoping to take Adam's supervisor position when he graduates. we'll see.

Airina 02-12-2011 01:37 PM

Yes that'd be quite fun!! And so do I. This trip'll cost a lot more than last years trip did... And I haven't been working so I haven't been saving up my money...

Lucid: 02-12-2011 09:59 PM

well, after this semester, all the jobs open up. :D

Airina 02-12-2011 10:00 PM

What are you talking about Lucid? And where on earth do you get that kind of information???

Lucid: 02-12-2011 10:34 PM

well, everyone leaves for the summer, graduates, whatever. so a bit before finals week this semester is the time to apply for things, because that's when everyone starts hiring to replace the leaving people.

Airina 02-12-2011 10:41 PM

Most places are already doing that... and I don't really want to work on campus.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 10:47 PM

eh. campus jobs aren't so bad. as long as they're not food-related.

Airina 02-12-2011 10:48 PM

*vomits* I hated smelling like barbeque sauce...

Lucid: 02-12-2011 10:50 PM

and that's why you apply for nice, calm, non-foody secretary jobs. :D

Airina 02-12-2011 10:51 PM

Find me a good one and I'll apply. *nods head* I'm sick of searching for jobs!

Lucid: 02-12-2011 10:54 PM

okie. I'll look.....later. we're leaving for the dance as soon as my roommate fixes her hair.

Airina 02-12-2011 11:00 PM

Have fun. And I didn't mean right nows.

Lucid: 02-12-2011 11:09 PM

mmkay. I will. except Lindsey says she's gonna find a boyfriend for me. I'm a'scurd...

Airina 02-12-2011 11:11 PM

If so just text me and pretend I'm your boy friend. *nods* it works.

Lucid: 02-13-2011 02:53 AM

it turned out alright for me. C: she didn't find any boys for me. but I met a boy wearing a Thundercats shirt, and I was like, "hey. I love your shirt." and he was like, "please tell me you know what this is..." and I'm like, "of course, Thundercats!" and he's like "Oh my gosh....NEW FRIEND. what's your name?" and we hugged and now I have a new friend. except all I know about him is that his name is Jimmy, he has a Thundercats shirt, and he's 6'6". and in my stake.

I am surprised that Thundercats are not very well known.

Airina 02-13-2011 02:54 AM

*pounces on Lucid* That's so funny!! I'm watching Bewitched on Hulu! They have all of them on there for free! It's wonderful!

Lucid: 02-13-2011 03:00 AM

oooh, that's fantastic! I wonder if they have Thundercats on there for free....ooh, looks like they do, but it links to the Kids WB website. eh.

Airina 02-13-2011 03:01 AM

sad!!!!
