Oh tea, how could I live without the stuff. <3
I end up having a gallon of iced tea in the fridge pretty much constantly, I need the caffeine of black tea to get my through the day of chasing after a baby, and a five year old. Though, now that it's getting colder here I'll be doing more hot teas in the morning... afternoon... Oh who am I trying to kid, hot tea all day! :D As far as flavors, I'm not really picky, though I do tend to keep a lot of medicinal and herbal teas in the pantry and drink those when I start feeling sick. It's all bagged teas though, and not really the best quality to be honest. :< I'm hoping for the holidays to get a proper tea pot with a metal mesh insert to brew some loose leaf teas in. |
Mmmm tea
I'm fond of herbal and green teas, i love jasmine and chai tea too I do love me some iced sweet tea too, and actually should go brew some in a bit for the house. Mmmmm. |
I love my tea XD
|
what kind is it echo, i made lipton just now for the whole family
|
I'm currently having some earl grey tea for breakfast with a bagel.
This is my kind of thread... |
I'm a coffee person instead of a tea person, which should probably be obvious from my user name. I usually drink plain coffee with cream and sugar, but I get lattes or mochas (lul) every once in a while or whenever I go to a cafe.
I've tried tea... a lot of times. I kind of wish I liked it since I have tons of friends who are extreme tea people, but I just can't enjoy it no matter how hard I try. The exception is chai, but I like almost anything if you put some cinnamon and nutmeg in it :b |
I have several tea pots with the metal holders for loose leaf, but I find I like the little individual baggies you can buy, since they are easier to deal with. No extra rinsing. ;)
I've started drinking a little more coffee at work because of the difficulties finding a spot for the kettle that isn't considered a safety hazard. I stick with plain coffee with milk and sugar too. I'm not one for fancy flavours much of the time. http://i53.tinypic.com/2vcucz6.png |

I drink my coffee straight black... or with oodles of cream and sugar. I can't stand the powdered creamers, though. |
I had green tea at a sushi bar, it was good C:
|
Darn it, you just made me crave green tea and sushi, and I have no current access to any... :(
|
I did some searching for Sushi tea, or rather the tea that we often get when we go to sushi joints. The closest I've found so far is Genmaicha, which green tea with toasted rice. Tastey stuff. :). Another Chinese joint we like to go to serves Jasmine tea.
I just finished a cup of chai myself. It's not homemade out of the pot but it'll do. :) |
Right now I am nursing a cup of hot apple cinnamon tea. Really tasty stuff, didn't need any sweetener added either, which is a bonus since it's 10:27pm here and I don't need to give myself a sugar buzz.
|
I like the term 'sugar coma' myself. Apparently it's scientifically more accurate. Especially when said buzz runs out. ;)
|
Haha! That's the truth though. I think I shall be adopting this term into my vocabulary, since it's much more accurate.
|
Trying a new tea my sister picked up from somewhere, some kind of Bigelow black tea bag. I just made myself a cup of persian black tea and sorta oversteeped it, which is something of a feat considering how I usually have my tea.
|
I don't get out much places for tea variety so from walmart I just bought some Bengal tea. It tastes almost like Chai tea. It's lighter so requires much less sugar. I'm fairly happy with it. Wish I just got Chai Tea instead. ^-^;
