There is stuff that helps with the cough and if you get temperature, also helps to fight it down. It makes you more sleepy, though, but it's good, since your body fights with sickness the best as you sleep.

I wonder if you have any hand or face cream in your house. It really helps with the soreness of nose when after all the sniffing and blowing it. Even if it burns a little at first, but it softens it and the skin doesn't seem to peal so much afterwards.
