Yup. It was a rather... large... Italy cosplayer running up to glomp a Germany cosplayer that she didn't know. Well, a Thor cosplayer saw this, jumped in front of Germany, and shouted, "I SAY THEE NAY!!!" Italy ended up tackling Thor, and three of his ribs were broken.

Yeah, you kinda have to be all hyper and such when cosplaying X-2 Rikku. It's a shame she lost so much character depth between X and X-2, though.

i never got far in X or even started X2 =n= now that i've waited a while.. so maybe eventually I'll go buy the games and play them this time

Word of god says that the Al Bhed from X and X-2 are the race that invaded the world of VII and overran the cetra.

Oh, it's never mentioned in the games. It came up in an interview with the creators. One of the Al Bhed in X-2 is named Shinra, and he's the one who eventually takes the Al Bhed from Spira to Gaia. Since Al Bhed all have blonde hair, that's why President ShinRa and Rufus ShinRa both have blonde hair, and why there are a lot of blondes in VII.

this is what happens when i come into the FF scene 5 years too late xD I played Dirge or Cerberus and Crisis Core before I even managed to get my hands on FFVII and well.. =w=, so used to smexy graphics xD
