Thanks for clicking guys. :). Clicked your eggs too, Lady. ;)

I want a pygmy goat. They're so cute! Although they would pretty much mean no garden for me. I hear they make great lawnmowers. There is one lady in Victoria that has a small heard that she drops off in public areas from time to time to keep the greenery down where it's difficult to mow or maintain.

Feythfull 07-14-2011 10:11 PM

yeah goats would eat everything in a garden

Lucid: 07-14-2011 10:16 PM

I don't have the patience to maintain a garden anyway, so that would be awesome for me. :D

Feythfull 07-14-2011 10:29 PM

i don't think i would either

my mom has a small garden on the side of our house. it's just a few things though. a couple herbs, and grape tomatoes. I wish I still lived at home; I loooove tomatoes.

Feythfull 07-14-2011 10:45 PM

grape tomatoes are tastey

Lucid: 07-14-2011 10:49 PM

that they are. if I wasn't too cheap to go shopping and buy real food, I'd totally get some. I've been living off of.....um, whatever junk food we have laying around the house for a month now. Dx I'm almost out of tortillas, which means no more quesadillas, which means I WILL DIEEEE! D:

Feythfull 07-14-2011 10:51 PM

don't be cheap buy your self something nice to eat

Lucid: 07-14-2011 10:53 PM

bu-bu-but I'm a poor college student... ;W;
I haven't bought food in almost a month though. last time I went shopping I spent $40 on lasagna noodles and huge giant bags of cheese. mmmmmm, cheese.

Feythfull 07-14-2011 10:57 PM

lol don't spend on expensive thing just buy the bare nassesaties.

I lived off of sushi, burgers, and occasionally a bowl of soup from the food court at my school. The burgers were only $2 and the sushi was alway really fresh since it was popular at lunch and nothing sat their for very long.

When I did shop, I went to specialty places like fruit markets and a butcher for what I wanted since it was often cheaper than grocery stores, especially if one didn't really care about what they were looking for and could buy what was on sale. We learned really fast that fresh food was a heck of a lot cheaper than prepared food. It also helps if you have roomies to share stuff with. One of my buddies was a coupon person, and she would ask me if I wanted to go in with her on a large box of tea, or if anyone wanted to pitch in for a 10 pound back of potatoes. Worked great. :)

Two for ones were great because it's essentially a half price item if you can find someone to get the other one.

Entirely unrelated: yay! Asgard grew big! (my first egg. Must be sentimental about it ;).)

Feythfull 07-14-2011 11:14 PM

that sounds like an expensive diet

Quiet Man Cometh 07-14-2011 11:28 PM

I live on the coast and there's a heavy Asian population so sushi is incredibly cheap, and I don't eat a heck of a lot to begin with. $2 can barely get one a coffee at times, so a $2.50 burger is a great deal.
