I can't believe I went two whole days without checking Trisphee. @.@ I really needed sleep, though; I hardly did anything at all Sunday.

Coda! did you have a good new years though?

Coda 01-03-2017 10:27 PM

Well, sleeping all day was a mixed bag. I really desperately DID need it, but I obviously didn't get anything done, and my wife wasn't happy about it.

Spending the day before with my brother and his family was good, though.

yesterday hubby and i both got up a little before 11. hubby said 'i guess i needed the sleep.' so yeah, getting sleep is a good thing.

we spent new year's eve with a friend, and i worked 4-1/2 hours on new year's day. retail.

ten or diez

I feel desperately sleep deprived lately. I need a day that I can sleep all day.
I would love to sleep 10 hours a night!

Coda 01-03-2017 11:00 PM

It's easy for me to get sleep-deprived, because I'm on prescription stimulants. I can go to bed at 3AM, take my meds at 7AM, and function for the day. It's not GOOD for me, but I can do it.

And I'd been doing that a lot lately, and it was catching up with me.

I don't know one person that does not have an issue with sleep.
Ideally it should be go to sleep when you are tired, but then I wake up too early.
I have been on a bad sleep cycle for the last two weeks.

i still stay up too late, but 'early' at around midnight or 1 a.m..... i have a 7:30 a.m. alarm, but then i'll go back to bed and get up again at like 8:30 ... and i have to be at work at 9... XD

My favorite thing is to wake up, stay in bed then doze off again for an hour or two. But that has not happened lately and tomorrow I have a 10AM haircut appt so I won't be able to nap in the morning.

No, I'll smack you in the head to sleep!

Coda 01-04-2017 12:59 AM

If I COULD sleep later, I WOULD. Problem is I have to make sure my son gets to school on time in the mornings. Kinda puts a fixed point on my schedule.

I'm pretty sure overall that my sleep cycle doesn't fit a 24-hour period.
