LOL Not quite. You have to squish the berries to get that. But they make tasty ice cubes!

Lawton, how did it turn out with the dried ones? Did they flavour the water?

What? My place has a team that is intentionally losing to get a more lenient coach. So, go Royals!

Seriously?

ml1201 10-29-2015 10:12 PM

I've heard that some coaches can be real a-holes towards the players. I know some do that on purpose to make the team 'tough' but some times they go too far. >>;

Lawtan 10-30-2015 12:19 AM

I think it is more of "players liked being able to misbehave without consequence" and as the coach is holding them to standard, they are unhappy.

As for the unfrozen kind...it didn't work as well. Was more like it all floated to the top.

But it did have some effect. :)

ml1201 10-30-2015 07:55 AM

Then that's stupid on their part and they are only on the team to get out of doing work or something. At my school people on the sports teams were allowed to skip class if the team was holding practice. Granted that was if you had a certain grade in the class, lower than that you couldn't. But either way that was annoying for me during a science class with a lab. =.=;

Tam I am 10-30-2015 03:03 PM

I wonder what lightly boiling the dried cranberries would do to the water?

*sigh* Right now I can't even keep my brain from wandering off on weird tangents. It is so uncomfortable.

Lawtan 10-30-2015 05:11 PM

*Hugs Tam*
*Goes to try to find where Tam's brain wandered off to*

Tam I am 10-30-2015 11:41 PM

You know, when watching cartoons wears a body out, they are being very wimpy.

Lawtan 10-31-2015 10:01 AM

:(
*Sends hugs to Tam*

Tam I am 10-31-2015 05:33 PM

Thanks, Law. *leans on tiredly* A friend says it's a normal part of pre-menopause, but it being normal doesn't make it any more acceptable to somebody who hates wimping out.

Sorry for whining.

Lawtan 10-31-2015 07:21 PM

Hey, I whine a good deal, so feel free to whine back :)

Ack...my mother has a nightmare with that...not in the sense of the event itself, but that it left her with no estrogen. She takes supplements

ml1201 10-31-2015 10:43 PM

That doesn't sound fun at all. o.o;

Lawtan 11-01-2015 12:34 AM

Yeah...it's not.
Not the worst thing - with the supplements, it isn't much of a problem. But do remember the migraines were hell.

Den 11-01-2015 02:06 PM

Happy first day of NaNoWriMo for those who are participating! I, myself, am focusing on finishing the chapter two artwork for my comic, and when those last few pages are done (as I've found five pages I'd finished but never got scanned), I'll be starting chapter 3.

Glitch 11-01-2015 02:18 PM

I have tried to do it every year, I keep failing, so this year I am just not going to try >3>

You do? 0.0

The part about not being able to think straight that bothers me the most is that I am the only one responsible for taking care of me. If I can't walk to the bank and the store, and remember what I'm doing, then I'm up the creek.

NaNo! I wonder if I'll ever do another NaNo story.

trystan830 11-01-2015 03:04 PM

no nano for me this year- 1, i have NO idea. 2, still working on my HollyDay crochet, which will keep me busy for quite some time still.

Tam I am 11-01-2015 03:09 PM

What are you making? Is it okay to ask?

Den 11-01-2015 07:52 PM

I... made a NaNo cafe... >.>;;

Well, I perceive that I do.

Eeps...I can sympathize with not thinking straight for different reasons.

And welcome, Contraband! Books are on page 1...along with links and easter eggs...

I don't know if I'll do it or not...more just trying to get through at the moment.

Hello, fellow Ravelry peep! I'm on there as (big surprise) AutobotDen. :3

trystan830 11-01-2015 11:29 PM

hey there fellow Raverler! thanks for the add! =)

Den 11-02-2015 01:27 AM

The Kansas City Royals are nearly set to become World Series champions for the first time in 30 years. It's the bottom of the 12th inning, and one out now. The Royals scored 5 runs in the top of the inning.

ROYALS WON! 7-2 in the bottom of the 12th!!!! This is the first time in 30 years that they've won the World Series!:p-cute:

Ahh. No. No Ravelry. I do crochet regularly, but I've never joined a community for it. Dumb question... what is an ami?

Well, this irritable old bat doesn't notice, so you can't be too bad. lol

*grumble* And NOW the brain's lagging due to lack of food. But food hates me right now and won't stay around. 0.o

Rav has other features in addition to the forums, my favorite being the Notebook, which is the link in my sig. there's a page for each project, where i can keep track of when i start, when i finish, what yarn and color i've used, what hook and what pattern.

also, not a dumb question. "ami" is short for "amigurumi" with is japanese for something along the lines of "cute toy", and i've made a TON of little toys.

my most recent is Discworld for a friend for the HollyDays~

and i like the Hello Kitty i made for a friend a few years ago, too~

Ohhhhh! Amigrumi I know! XD I've made a few, though now days when I crochet a doll it's more likely to be a little flat object made more to hold than to look at. I don't really use patterns anymore, it's too distracting and I'd rather just make something. *lazy* The diskworld is really cute. I like the detail.

Lawtan, would this work as something for the library here?

Lawtan 11-02-2015 04:18 PM

O.o

When I have a moment, I'll add it to the Misc. Shelf. or Lit. Shelf.

ml1201 11-02-2015 04:29 PM

That turtle is adorable! XD
