Meh.

It's sad, all the online manga sites are being shut down.. this means eventually the place I download from is gonna be gone! ;-;

Zao 07-27-2010 04:10 PM

My friends were just talking about that in class today

Demonskid 07-27-2010 04:19 PM

The site I go to had a set back, Media Fire ended up purging one of the uploaders accounts, so we lost like.. 10000 manga the members are working together to reupload what was lost :3

Zao 07-27-2010 04:21 PM

I haven't been much into anime or manga since I was 16 or 17

Demonskid 07-27-2010 04:27 PM

I been in to anime and manga since I was 13 and I still love it. x3

Zao 07-27-2010 04:29 PM

lol all my friends are still really into it so I still hear about stuff like that

Demonskid 07-27-2010 04:33 PM

:3 I am pretty much an Otaku so I can't get away from it. Its my addiction xD

Zao 07-27-2010 04:34 PM

lol its kinda why I avoided taking Japanese. I wanted to take it so I could play video games before they came to the US but I figured it would be full.

Demonskid 07-27-2010 04:47 PM

I want to learn the language because I think its a beautiful language x3

Zao 07-27-2010 04:50 PM

I really enjoyed Chinese plus being a business major its a useful language to learn

johnny 07-27-2010 04:55 PM

I'm learning Japanese right now because... Well, I wanted to learn Chinese for a while, then I realized how extremely difficult it was and decided to go with something that has a much easier grammatical structure. And I wanted it to be a non-Romantic language, and something that has a bit of a following, so Japanese won out.

The problem is, whenever I tell people I'm learning Japanese, they automatically think I like anime. And I don't. At all. The last anime I watched and liked it was Sailor Moon, and I was ten years old. xD

Demonskid 07-27-2010 04:55 PM

I want to learn Chinese as well but Japanese will be the first one I learn

(is 20 years old and has every single sailor moon ep burned* :x the americans Butchered that anime just because it had lesbians in it

Zao 07-27-2010 04:57 PM

lol yeah chinese is hard. Its the tones that kill me. Reading and writing aren't as bad for me its just speaking

johnny 07-27-2010 05:04 PM

Yeah, I took a class on Humanities of Asia, and my professor for that class could speak Chinese and on an off-day (I think the projector wasn't working or something, so she just had to fill in class time until it started up again) she told us about the Chinese tonal system and how if you say something with what English-speakers might call an "excited" tone or a "monotone", they're two different words. I pretty much killed any plans of taking Chinese classes after I learned that. xD

Zao 07-27-2010 05:07 PM

there are only 4 tones but its not that bad sure it means the difference between "four" and "death" but its never really bad most people know what you're saying. There are a ton of Chinese speakers in my Chinese class

Demonskid 07-27-2010 05:07 PM

Are you serious D= if its like a bored tone and a happy tone.. they are 2 different words? D= *sticks with Japanese* ><
