Holy frick I've missed a lot of pages. @.@
so. this is a super late reply, but oh well. we take any donations anyone wants to give, and anybody can join the charity. you don't have to be new. :3

Hello Lucid. Glad to help spark up the activity here.

Serra Britt 06-27-2011 02:11 PM

Well today's the day I hear about my possible job... I'm way more nervous waiting for this than I was for the actual interview...

Lots of luck getting it, Serra!

Feythfull 06-27-2011 03:29 PM

the ice in the freezer tastes weird. . .

Quiet Man Cometh 06-27-2011 05:41 PM

Good luck Serra. :).

Oy. Still recovering from the wedding. I think there needs to be effort put into making boquets lighter when one needs to carry them around for multiple hours. It was worth spending $180 on my shoes though. As painful as that was, you gotta spend the money if you don't want your feet crippled at the end of the night.

Feythfull 06-27-2011 06:22 PM

how big was the bouquet? I am glad your shoes were comfy i think the ones i wore for my sister's wedding weren't comfortable but thats because they were white and I was afraid to get them dirty so they never got broken in lol but i had a small boquet so it was light

Lucid: 06-27-2011 06:50 PM

ah, breaking in shoes. @.@ I am crazy and will wear a pair of new heels almost constantly for 3 days straight in order to break them in. it KILLS my feet. but. when I'm done recovering, the heels are as comfy as any other shoe. my old pair of black heels was more comfortable than any other pair of shoes I'd owned. but now they're falling apart because I wear them so much. :C

Feythfull 06-27-2011 06:54 PM

my shoes are falling apart because i don't put them on properly and they are expensive shoes too lol Dx woopsy!

Lucid: 06-27-2011 06:58 PM

Dx that's no good!
I think I walk funny, because most of my heels have had the heel cap wear down and eventually pop off. now I make metallic clicking noises whenever I walk, from the metal rod in the heel scraping against the ground. :C

Feythfull 06-27-2011 07:06 PM

i think i walk funny as well with my feet tilted inwards

Quiet Man Cometh 06-27-2011 07:18 PM

I have the other issue. I walk with my feet tilted outwards a little from walking with my feet pointed outwards when I was a baby.

The shoes were great, no breaking in needed. Leather things that stuck nicely to my feet with no sore spots of any kind. :). Not much can help one's foot after being mobile for 10 hours. Got up early to get hair and make-up done, help the bride, get the bride ready to go for a private set of pictures outside the hotel, put shoes on, head over to the Cynagogue for the ketubah ceremony (jewish wedding), then head to a local and large park for more photos of the wedding party, drive to the wedding itself, stand around outside until the walk in, stand for the western style ceremony, stand for more pictures, then go a put the bouquet down. Then dinner, then speeches (me first) then dancing. And I actually did dance for once.

Oh, and we discovered a good way to kickstart a dead dance floor. Find a bouncy fun song, round up all the kids in the area, and send them out. It's worked twice so far. ;)
