Well two of them I work alot one of them I work like two days out of the week.

Yeah. Going overseas to cons would be expensive.

Does it make me a bit of a snob to go 'but...overseas cons are TINY compared to american ones! Why waste the money?' Unless of course one were to go to one in Japan to hunt down a certain artbook artist and after fawning all over them smacking them stupid for some of their unrealistic or overly detailed designs....

well it's because of the freedom of the cosplays and it's rules and regulations compared to Americas (i.e) NDK in which it's more going towards the family friendly, not the interests of the con goers.

When worldcon was in japan it sounded fun to go. Or even when it was held in Scotland.

actually most cons out of the US have even MORE strict rules than our cons Echo. Heck, many cons you can't wear you costumes outside of a set area, let alone carry certain props or accessories.

And I can honestly say I'd not really care for world con, I've seen videos and heard reports and it doesn't sound worth while enough to make the journey.

I had a nice time when I went to worldcon in Philadelphia and in Boston.

So, don't kill me Nikko, Lotte's skirt will have to eat you another time. I cannot get the undercage to work without collapsing under it's own weight and the laws of physics. I'll grab out one of my other formals for the ball...at least I have a closet of them I guess. And go burn the latest attempt at this stupid dress that hates me....

I don't blame disney, I blame me trying to do it cheap/fast. I know I can do it if I fork over the money for the right materials...but I was hoping to get by on what I had on hand. Oh well, she'll still happen, just probably not until Starfest.

Meh, that's all I have to say for this year. However, I was 1) still helping a friend MAKE her outfit at 830pm, and 2)was getting sick even though 3)I had to work the next day.

Okay figure good thing I didn't care to go.

So, started on Viola today. Got everything 'mapped' out and cut out some of the purple organza I'll need. I think three yards was waaaaaaaaaay more than I needed, but now I have extra...for like two more versions of her LOL
