ok there was an meteor that struck earth and the people in the town were dead. except for a baby and a drunk. so they find it take them and the meteor back to a lab.

ok this lab has multiple layers once they go down they cant go back up. one person is given a key to stop a nuclear bomb. the bomb is in case the thing spreads. so they are conducting experiments and they find out near the end that the drunk lived bc of the alcohol and the baby survived bc of its crying...
