Now I want some fresh berries too XD Though I guess the strawberries I got at the supermarket last month weren't half bad, for supermarket berries anyways.

Ouch, I feel for you Kenly. I live in the city more or less, but my sister has a farm that we spend a lot of time on. I can't even lift one hay bale. I have to pick it up in pieces. Fortunately she only has one horse to feed at the moment.

The neighbour has a blueberry crop but he loses a lot of it to birds, rot, and from not having enough pickers, so we have a standing invitation to come and pick when we want to. I'm going to collect a bunch to send to my dad in winter. Hard to get fresh fruit up north here, and they freeze well I'm told.

I never did hay baling my sisters did at my great aunts but I was too young and then I guess they never did it when i got older. . .

Hi Rose. You're actually on this time! Usually I seem to miss you.

Feythfull 06-20-2011 10:11 PM

I got my laptop back! *dances*

Serra Britt 06-20-2011 10:15 PM

Yay, congrats Feythfull :3 Did I miss earlier what was wrong with it?

Kenly 06-20-2011 11:02 PM

i don't have to help, but we get paid to help. my grandpa has horses. i forget how many. like 13, i think? i'm still sore. e_e

Quiet Man Cometh 06-20-2011 11:10 PM

Wow. That would be a fair bit of work. I'm not as horse savy as my older sister and mother, and aunt for that matter. My twin and I are the only ones who didn't have a horse growing up. *pout*

Oh well. I just have to toss him some say, not get hit by his big head if he decides to to have a peek outside of his stall while the door is open, (he moves fast. He's a teenager as horses go) and keep an eye out in case he decides to use me as a rubbing post for his head when I'm in the paddock with him. He also has this habit of standingn really, *really* close to people with his front hooves maybe two inches away from your foot and also giving you a lovely view of the side of his head about a couple inches from your nose. Charming horse.

yeah you missed the explanation of what was wrong with my laptop by almost 2 months lol thats how long it took to get it back!

Serra Britt 06-20-2011 11:27 PM

I'm so excited, I got called for an interview on Wednesday! Though it feels a bit wierd to have worked so hard applying to places when a place I didn't apply to called me, but that's alright ^^; It's only for 2 days a week but it will be far better than nothing :3

Quiet Man Cometh 06-20-2011 11:29 PM

Laptops are wonderful and evil at the same time. I'm glad I live in an urban area now where things that go wrong can usually be fixed in the area. My sister needed her laptop repaired (broken spacebar which meant new mother board) from a rural area and only computer joint in town had to send it out. Took 6 months to get it back.

Ginger 06-21-2011 02:24 AM

Congrats on the interview Serra! That must be really exciting :3

Muff Muff 06-21-2011 10:12 AM

I do wish I had the time to be a part of this charity. :( It's so lovely!

Serra Britt 06-21-2011 12:19 PM

Thank you Ginger :3

And Muff, this is a pretty nice place to be, even if you're just hanging out and talking ^^
