Ah, that's always a problem =/
Netflix recommended me Riverdale. First season was good even, but afterwards... what a mess. A mess I had to watch

Biomecha 08-25-2019 09:40 PM

If Sabrina was any indication, it doesn't seem like Riverdale would be worthwhile.

mdom 08-25-2019 09:57 PM

xDD you didn't like Sabrina at all?
Riverdale is like, temn times worse, plotwise |D

Biomecha 08-25-2019 10:10 PM

Not particularly. Felt it could have used some humor because it wound up being more serious than I expected for a supernatural show. But I'm not familiar with the comics.

mdom 08-25-2019 10:22 PM

Yeah, veery different from the 90s series xD
I'm not familiar with the comics either. But Sabrina deals with issues better than Riverdale, for example, like feminism

Biomecha 08-25-2019 10:32 PM

Heheh, wildly different.

Ah, has the second season come out? The blur was really headache inducing, too.

mdom 08-25-2019 10:38 PM

It's the second part of the first season, but to me it's a second season xD

I miss Salem speaking, but the original didn't have shirtless Ambrose

Biomecha 08-25-2019 11:20 PM

I was confused about the aunts being good or bad because of the other series.

mdom 08-25-2019 11:41 PM

yeah the one want who's redhead is only good when it's about her family |D fuck everyone else

Biomecha 08-26-2019 12:18 AM

Come to think of it, I may not have actually finished the entire first season. She's doing her own thing by not signing, right?

mdom 08-26-2019 12:29 AM

Yes, that's the first part still heheh

Biomecha 08-26-2019 01:33 AM

Ah, did you give The Umbrella Academy a try? I'm wondering if that is worth trying. So many comic shows lately. Deadly Class was actually visually well done.

mdom 08-26-2019 01:41 AM

I liked Umbrella Academy! The songs are very uh cool for the youth

Biomecha 08-26-2019 01:50 AM

Ah, I'll take a look. The discussions seemed to be pretty mixed.

mdom 08-26-2019 02:23 AM

it's not like, the best thing, but it's definitely fun

Biomecha 08-26-2019 10:32 AM

Okay noted, I won't hold it in as high regard as Claws.

mdom 08-26-2019 11:27 AM

Oh no xD not a campy fun series.
More like brooding, incest between adopted siblings series

Biomecha 08-26-2019 04:48 PM

At least the new Dark Crystal series is coming out. Although I'm not sure if that would be as appealing compared to seeing it as a kid.

mdom 08-26-2019 06:07 PM

hm yeah those puppets have an 80s charm xD
will they be cgi now?

Biomecha 08-26-2019 07:32 PM

I think there were still puppets, but it might be both. The production company probably wants to maintain the use of puppets in honor of the craft and Jim Henson.

mdom 08-26-2019 07:39 PM

Ahh true, I can't imagine anything Jim Henson did as CGI xD

Biomecha 08-26-2019 07:49 PM

I hope practical effects will always have some place in the future. Guillermo del Toro seems to do better when using it.

mdom 08-26-2019 09:03 PM

For the vintage loving people maybe ehehe

Biomecha 08-26-2019 09:09 PM

It's weird to think how 90s has become vintage.

mdom 08-27-2019 08:47 PM

don't do it. don't say it's gonna be 30 years from 90s

Biomecha 08-27-2019 10:41 PM

All the characters we grew up with are in nursing homes now.

mdom 08-28-2019 12:22 PM

Except Mario Lopez, who still looks good, for some reason

Biomecha 08-29-2019 12:01 AM

He probably has some sort of chamber where he's hooked into some system to replace cells and other things to help preserve him.

mdom 08-29-2019 12:08 AM

Are you saying he's the one of the Keith Richards urban legend?

Biomecha 08-29-2019 11:33 AM

I'm not familiar with the urban legend? But then not surprised there would be involving Keith Richards.

mdom 08-29-2019 05:59 PM

That he used tons of drogs and stuff but was still alive because they transfused all of his blood out and he got new one... monthly

Biomecha 08-29-2019 09:00 PM

But isn't that normal? Oh right...right, you humans. I should donate mine since it's sought after, but the previous times were rather painful.

mdom 08-29-2019 09:03 PM

The needle is so big D: also it takes forever.

I always forget to ask if you can donate if you're on meds

Biomecha 08-29-2019 10:40 PM

I think most are accepted. Some might require a waiting period.

mdom 08-29-2019 10:43 PM

I'm always on my psychiatric meds xD

Biomecha 08-29-2019 10:56 PM

I think those are fine. I'm pretty sure I donated when I was still on them. They usually have a list of anything that might not be allowed. Wish I could still take them now, or find more effective ones.

mdom 08-29-2019 11:06 PM

D: damn the us not having a national healthcare thingie.

I donated back in college, many pounds ago

Biomecha 08-29-2019 11:57 PM

I don't think the healthcare system can turn me into a human.

Maybe someone out there is doing better because of it.

mdom 08-30-2019 09:43 PM

You need the wizard of oz to do that.

OR maybe I saved the life of someone who didn't deserve it! We'll never know. I also remember registering as a bone marrow donator but never got called for uuuh anything

Biomecha 08-30-2019 11:19 PM

Maybe you helped a vampire live another day.

The bone marrow one sounds kind of scary to go through.
