Oh yeah, the microscopic Hydra are possibly biologically immortal...as are certain vine-like trees and a jellyfish species that is actually beginning to overpopulate the ocean. I think they are also both sexes. (Correction: they normally reproduce asexually, but can grow the needed organs when under stress and diversity is needed...like if a disease was killing them off)
>.> Several of those characters are from an Early Middle Ages/Late Antiquity setting on an Animorph style world...sort of created from an RP or two falling through, my general interest in Archaeology/folklore/creatures, and from a pair of characters I sort of linked in my head. |
XD Law, most of Den and my stuff is based around a nexus between all realities. Your peeps would probably fit, if they could put up with my constrictive rules.
Yeah. Lou's race is always genderless. They've never had sexual reproduction, though there's a fair rate of minor genetic mutation that means that they're not all perfect clones. You have different personalities among them, though they're all variations on cheery chatterbox. To start a family they go apply for a license, and then start growing a bud. Who needs love and care and to be chased down and caught and kept out of danger the moment it detaches. Babies wanna learn! Quote:

Good luck getting that job and getting away from your parents Den!

Which reminds me. I've got animorphs too. |
Mine is more one universe - multiple cultures in multiple worlds...that are about 10% done...
Nuts, Lou needs to visit Andey and CJ...Also Tam, the Green Egg Creator of the Cosmopolitan Multiverse...and Den, Ruler of the Scarwhovian Transmultiverse. (I accept all tomatoes at the bad humor) Ezra (Hybrid/Cyborg Computer Hologram): Now where did I put that wormhole... Asha (Person fused to a medical Nanobot-regulating suit): By the...wait, you can't pick anything up! Ezra: *Crying devil puppy face* Asha: ...Fine, I'll look for it. Ezra: *Turns into a scene of partying zombies rolling their heads across the desert* On a side note, you know how some people need a certain phrase - like "Nobody's Perfect" or "It gets better" or "It will be okay"? I need one that essentially says "You can always go back and improve" or "We are always trying to improve" or something like that. |
...Law, you'll have to explain my new title to me... It's kinda going fwoosh, over my head.
|
Yep...that is a tomato...
(Scarf...Whovian as in Dr. Who...Transformers...Multiverse) (Sorry...) |
Oooooh. Alright then. lol
Today was my birthday. I had to adult for a bit, but I got my driver's license renewed, and ran an errand for dad. then i bought the stuff (minus the booze) to make jello shots... and got myself something shiny. |

On the note of funny character skits: Depends. If you like oversugary sugarized sugar (hard ans soft), it would likely be good. |
Don't like sugar at all, most the time. LOL
*reads skit* *keels over cackling* |
*spazzy over the pretty cake* I SEE A TINY HOUND ON IT.
|
That is a pretty cool cake. XD

I have GOT to get more of the yearly things before the year is over. Sometimes a body wants to wear more than one of the pieces at a time.
Oh yeah. Law, I just remembered another of my fictional races that's kinda weird. They're called trunkhoppers. |
...I see an elephant trunk attached to a spring, hopping along...with eyes in place of the nose.
|
LOL They actually look something like a fourteen foot tall cross between an elephant and a kangaroo. They're bluff, good-natured guys who are found in most of the out of the way sectors of the galaxies in most my realities, working at the mining settlements and such. And they are all guys, they say. Nobody outside their race knows it, but they're living rocks- all mothered by the same mountain on an out of the way world on the very very edge of a galaxy.
|
That's actually pretty cool. XD
|
For NaNoWriMo, I'm doing like last year, only I'm aiming to finish one chapter and start another.
|
I've never participated in one before, I'd like to though if I have time. ^^;
|
as of now, i don't have a NaNo idea, and i have some big crochet items i'm making for the HollyDays this year anyway, so probably won't do NaNo this year.
but, i did it in 11, 12, 13 and 14, and won each year. =) |
I hope to be able to follow through with one this year...even if it is only a little work on each story I am working on...
Ah, so I got the elephant part right...and they sound like Space Baraka...minus the magic (Baraka are a massive stone race formerly enslaved by Giants...they inherited the Giant's magic and technology when an accident killed off the Giants...they tend to be literal minded and intelligent yet sweet at heart...a race from TERRA: Rising) (Is one of my favorite races in that game...Elin and Aman are also there...essentially Sea-Dragonkin and Immortal Children of the Shattered Forest Goddess) |
Baraka are neat peeps. I'd play them if I played that game. But the trunkhoppers look less rocky. You'd have to actually look at them with a microscope to realize you're looking at rock, as they just have leathery hide. Den's stone people look more like the Baraka, but they have an interesting way of looking at the world. Literally.
|
Ah...that is interesting.
(Wants to ask how they are rock at the cellular level and living - if they are coral-like, or like the non-deadly/disabled form of genetic skin disease that produces calcium, or something like that) >.> as a little kid, I talked to a boulder frequently <.< |
Quote:
Ignore her, she just likes to make robots burp by looking at them. lol the race Tam's talking about of mine are the Gawhara. They're living rock, and can take on humanoid forms when they're young. As they get older, they start getting less and less humanoid, though they still maintain the basic shape, albeit much larger. They don't have eyes in the traditional sense, and use sonics and echolocation to 'see'. |

Bitty Tam just had pet rocks in her pockets. Or her mouth. |
I saw an interesting looking Transformer game, but it was only video clips, never played it. Supposedly it was a new game released for this month.

|
lol, so you did know about it then. XD
|
Yes, and I have to post a correction. The game's for XBox One, not the 360.
|
Well, since it was a newly released game I thought you meant that one. XD

I am curious as to how it is synthesized... Anyway, hi all! |

LOL She ate sand, too. |

Bitty Den ate sand once. |
I ate crayons when I was little, I was not allowed to have them unsupervised between the ages 2-4 I think. XD When I was five I chewed on Sega controller cords instead. XD
|
I didn't eat things for the most part. I chew on my hair as a nervous habit, but I was incredibly picky about what went in my mouth.
...On the other hand, I fed my mom a flower magnet because I had made the connection between flowers and spices and made a "spicy sandwich" and she was feeling bad... |
