The last book I read was Battlefield Earth, which I finished reading today! Though manga is not considered a book, I be reading my Sailor Moon volumes next, then probably after that Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. (Which is a book.)

Tiva 07-25-2012 06:44 PM

Beautiful Chaos. the third book in the Beautiful Creatures Series. I liked it alot. I hope theres a fourth one soon.

Rigel 08-12-2012 01:43 AM

Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce. It's so good, but it's hard reading something that has content that works for an older audience with writing that seems meant for young adults. It sort of confuses my brain to read under these conditions.

Rico 08-12-2012 03:28 AM

The passage by Justin Cronin. It was okay, but some part in the beginning didn't make much sense to me, like the whole zoo thing before a certain event happening, it would have made much more sense to me if it was after (although that would have been harder to put because of how the events are going.).
It feels like there's a sequel comming or something at the end, and I kind of hope there is, because it feels a little bit incomplete to me, even though a lot of things got closure.

Asami 08-12-2012 03:48 PM

That's a series? I just watched the movie the other day (most of it). I've been thinking more about reading some of the books attached to movies that I find interesting or quirky.

Finished up The Last Guardian, which is the last book in the Artemis Fowl series.
Fantasy books are great! Anyone else agree?

Lestrade 09-11-2012 02:38 PM

I actually had to check my Goodreads; looks like the last non-manga book I read was Howards End by E.M. Forster. I love Forster's writing, but Howards End was kind of depressing... I kind of prefer his happier books (A Room with a View and especially Maurice).

shay_almost 09-11-2012 03:57 PM

I just finished Into the wild. Its a book that talks about this life of this guy who threw off the social norms. An amazing read!

TaAshe 09-12-2012 07:49 AM

Does my textbook count? xD No, I actually read Fire Starter by Steven King. I really love that book, and I'm probably going to be checking it out from the library again today.

Homeland by R A Salvator - though i must say from all of the good word on this series i was rather disappointed in it. I predicted most ok more than most of the book long before events took place.. I doubt I will be reading the next two in the series D;
