Biomecha 05-21-2018 11:17 PM

Or silver. And maybe the galaxy color. And one of the special colors. Or a mix of some of the other colors?

mdom 05-21-2018 11:19 PM

oooh galaxy!! We definitely need galaxy skin.
I think one old monthly is galactic but not using the pattern we have now.

Biomecha 05-21-2018 11:59 PM

The only thing is we'd still run into the issue of not wanting to cover it up.

We also need a good cream color. Dust isn't close enough, and the browns don't have it

mdom 05-23-2018 10:13 AM

hmm now that you mentioned it... cream... hm. Can't recall.

Biomecha 05-23-2018 06:38 PM

My avatar life is empty without cream. And other certain neutrals, because I'm picky. I'd create another group of palettes with just the neutrals if it could be easily applied to all the shop items.

mdom 05-23-2018 09:25 PM

You can suggest them!
I think they're open. I mean, there are 2309438428 reds, why not more neutrals xD

Biomecha 05-23-2018 10:30 PM

I'd assume it wouldn't be added to the items already in the shops, since the older ones don't have newer colors. I wouldn't want it to be treated like a special color. It would probably be too much work unless there was an easy script to do it.

mdom 05-24-2018 08:38 AM

Hm, you got me there. Maybe we need a larger staff.

Biomecha 05-24-2018 08:22 PM

Probably not with the size of the active user base. It's just what one person wants that is likely more work than it's worth.

mdom 05-25-2018 09:29 AM

But if you suggest, maybe more people will say they'll want that as well!

Biomecha 05-25-2018 08:50 PM

It looks like people generally prefer their colors. Also... does it seem like a majority of the users are site artists?

mdom 05-26-2018 11:52 AM

Espy likes muted colors... DbM too.

Hehe many are designers.

Biomecha 05-26-2018 06:01 PM

Then I'll submit a request for all their colors to get a version with the saturation turned down to about 10-20%.

I need to learn how to make color palettes. Or whatever they use. Maybe it's the gradients I was seeing on the item creating Twitch stream.

mdom 05-26-2018 06:51 PM

Ah, the color palettes for each specific color?

Biomecha 05-26-2018 08:04 PM

Yeah, I think they are just gradient maps. Should be easy. But I wanted to see if I could make one that was cream color but had a slate/smoky blue tone to the shading.

mdom 05-26-2018 11:25 PM

Oooh now I'm curious/intrigued/interested.

Biomecha 05-26-2018 11:57 PM

I'll at least attempt it now that I see how to do it. And maybe make the midtone subtly rosey. Or go for a warm taupe and cool taupe in the process.

mdom 05-27-2018 11:30 AM

Biomecha colors T^T
exciting.

Biomecha 05-27-2018 08:41 PM

I prefer to call them anti-mdom colors. It would help to have the exact default color palette they use to apply all the colors to, so that know how to adjust it. Because all the black white and greys yield different results with the same gradient map like the skirt shows.

Hey, R00D ok

But beautiful!! I really like the top right one.

Biomecha 05-27-2018 09:05 PM

It still needs tweaking, but the top right did wind up looking more like the goal. It's the silver skirt, so I guess the higher depth and highlight range winds up working better. It looks less blue toned now that I see it on my phone.

mdom 05-27-2018 11:07 PM

Ah, I assume top left is the black then

Biomecha 05-28-2018 12:54 AM

Yep... I'm probably doing something wrong in the process. Like maybe there's a blend mode to make it work better.

mdom 05-28-2018 01:35 AM

ask Galla
Galla likes to help

Biomecha 05-28-2018 02:02 AM

Good idea. Except they're probably too busy and I don't want to bug them. I just prefer to bug you... generally.

That's a lot of colors.

mdom 05-28-2018 10:40 AM

I don't mind, but I'm not the most helpful person ever xDD

Hey Espy.

Biomecha 05-28-2018 10:28 PM

Espy: It wasn't serious about suggesting all the colors.

mdom: As long as you are thoroughly bothered, that's okay.

mdom 05-29-2018 10:21 AM

You always make me hot&bothered bby

Biomecha 05-29-2018 08:46 PM

That's because of the weather in Brazil. Or it would be cooler by now?

mdom 05-29-2018 11:37 PM

hehe it's cooler now.
Chilling 65F degrees.

Biomecha 05-30-2018 05:54 PM

Ohh brr, coat weather. And all the layers. Don't want to get frostbite.

mdom 05-30-2018 07:27 PM

Hm. Are you trying to make fun of me
My mom made me go out in pants, but it was like
72F

Biomecha 05-30-2018 08:23 PM

No...or, more like making light of it because we're both from a warmer climate and that would be chilly for me too. But I generally prefer long sleeves and pants.

mdom 05-31-2018 12:05 AM

My polar bear fat prevents me from feeling cold unless it's really cold so I rarely wear pants. I wear shorts you weirdos reading who think I walk around in my underwear!!!

Biomecha 05-31-2018 05:50 PM

Heheh, I don't remember the last time I wore shorts. You can try to pry my black jeans from my cold dead hands!

mdom 05-31-2018 08:18 PM

How do you live during the Summer!!

Biomecha 05-31-2018 10:20 PM

By never going outside. For long, at least. I do wear joggers at home though.

mdom 05-31-2018 10:43 PM

Ah, smart Bio xD
since I like far from trees my house can become quite warm.

Biomecha 06-03-2018 09:44 PM

Do you get a good view of the stars, or is there too much light pollution?
