I haven't really played it much longer than a couple hours on a friends computer but found it to be neat

it stuck in my head for the past few weeks though someone I know really liked it and I made a magnet of the creeper for him

I tried Minecraft but no matter how much I tried giving it a chance, I just couldn't get into it. Perhaps I'm not the building type, was never into legos or puzzles so something like Minecraft where you build stuff wasn't going to capture my interest. Seems pretty successful though so hopefully everyone who enjoys it keeps getting updates for the game.

Hehe minecraft EEEEE! The very first thing I did when I bought this game was dig a hole. :) Then I started doing the thing you're warned never to do. I started digging straight down with a bunch of random pickaxes I had made from some steel I found on the way down. I kept digging, and digging until I reached a big dark cave that I lined with torches. I roamed the cave eventually getting lost, but I found lava and DIAMONDS! I was going crazy like wooohooooo yeah awesome diamonds!. I picked up a bucket of lava, and started trying to find my way out. Roamed that cave for 5 hours digging through various places, and then I finally found some sand. I quickly pushed it out of the way, and made my way into the son basking in the delight of my find. Then I realized I had no clue where my house or my spawn was, and started to cry because I knew if I died I would lose all my goodies forever.

I'd totally play with you guys but I don't have my PC right now. Iv only got my iPad and it has minecraft on it.

sadly that is the life of minecraft... life, cave diving, finding diamonds, getting lost, death... i try to build my house near caves and once i start cave diving i leave redstone torches to mark my way back out

Oh a long time ago found something super rare when I first got the game.I started on the beach and found a very uniform square in the sand. I started to dig through it, and bam walls of cobbelstone. It was a dungeon with chests, and a monster spawner. The only thing keeping me from it was sand hahaha. How crazy it was basically above ground.

lol i had that happen once except it was on dirt... so i just opened up the hole and let them burn...

I'm currently making a server for my and a few friends to build a bunch of Game of Thrones stuff, like the wall an' all that o-o

that would be cool! he needs a better computer so he can run a server.

im trying to get my laptop to run minecraft smoother any tips? also this is on a laptop with standard intel graphic card... 2.1ghz processor and 4GB of memory

Do you have Optifine installed with it? It adds an additional 20+ fps for me.

Next would be allocating more RAM to the MC client, as I runs on a default of 1GB. so you can double that at the least. You do that within Java somewhere on your Pc.. I forget how.
