Bonnie 02-18-2011 05:38 AM

But it doesn't taste like cheese, cake, or pie.
It's a culinary marvel...

Duchess 02-18-2011 05:44 AM

It's an amazing marvel tho .3.

and soooo delish~ =9

Bonnie 02-18-2011 06:31 AM

Oh hell yeah. I could eat that stuff all day...

The religion I made up with my friends considers a thing called "pie-cake" to be it's holy sacrament, if you can ever find or make such a thing. Cheesecake seems to fit into that category of awesome holy deliciousness...

Coda 02-18-2011 09:57 AM

Bonnie, I have made the holy pike before -- two different kinds, in fact.

My first pike was a strawberry shortpike. It starts with a pie crust, then a layer of homemade strawberry pie filling (my grandmother taught me how to make it), then a layer of white cake, then a layer of pie filling, then a layer of white cake, and I frosted the top with Cool Whip.

The second was a quadruple-chocolate pike. The crust was crushed oreos. The filling was milk chocolate pudding. The layers were dark chocolate cake. The frosting was creamy chocolate frosting. AND THEN THERE WERE SPRINKLES.

But as cheesecake goes, the pizza place here where I live sells CHEESECAKE PIZZA.

Demonskid 02-18-2011 10:58 AM

._. cheesecake pizza? that sounds sooooo horrible D: *hides under my ever beloved pepperoni pizza and stays there*

Coda 02-18-2011 11:04 AM

IT IS AMAZING.

It's a deep-dish pastry crust filled with delicious cheesecake and then baked like a pizza.

Demonskid 02-18-2011 11:12 AM

D: I thought cheese cake isn't suppose to be baked? My mom loves it though..

What pizza place makes this? maybe one near me makes it and I can get mom to try it so she stays away from the Pepperoni >:3

*never liked cheesecake*

Coda 02-18-2011 11:28 AM

There are some no-bake cheesecakes out there but the traditional cheesecake recipe I've made from scratch does indeed involve baking.

It's Larry's Pizza, which IS a chain, but the recipe was invented by the owner of the local franchise so I don't think you'll be able to find it anywhere else.

Demonskid 02-18-2011 11:30 AM

Darn.. mail it to me! I'll send the money some how x'D

Lucid: 02-18-2011 11:33 AM

I WANT. D:
both the cheesecake pizza and the strawberry pike sound delicious.

Duchess 02-18-2011 11:34 AM

The cheesecakes I've made involve baking... owo

And that's sounds yummy-ish Coda xDDDD like a GIANT cheese cake....
