I feel old whenever I talk to someone younger, or when any of the people I graduated with from High School has kids.

Humm. I feel old when I think about 2-4 years past. It feels like... centuries ago. But I think that in those situations you mentioned, many do, even if they shouldn't. For most, all life is still ahead of them and rushing in life is not one of the wisest things to do, too.
