My boyfriend and I almost went with a group of friends to otakon this year. But, none of us in the group would have been able to go for various reasons. Next year though, we're all going to a con ^^

I go to conventions with my hetero life mate. She's awesome and lets me stay at her place the night before so we can carpool.

I only been to 1 con and.. it was years ago... i wanna go to another one OnO

I helped run a mini-con back in high school.
I have yet to go to a big con... And I live near RIT where they have Toracon.

i wanna go to another con the last one i went to was fun

I'm beginning to think I have a negative effect on conventions...

The first convention I ever attended, it was the last year of that convention.

My first YaoiCon was fine, but the next year they announced they were giving ownership to a big corporation.

My first MegaCon was good, but this year the Dealers' Room was 1/3 smaller than it was last year.

PariahCon, the first convention where I volunteered, had its last appearance this year as well.

This makes me scared to go to Wasabi.

My cat woke up from his nap and walked over to the desk where I'm sitting right now on my computer. He sat there and would stare at me like he wanted something. I get up, get tea, he follows, I give him and the dog more water. I go back to the desk, Eli follows and the same thing, stares at me like he wants something. I go grab a chair from the dining room and bring it to the desk and set it next to me. He instantly jumps up on the chair next to the computer chair and has curled up in a ball purring.
I guess my cat wanted to be close to me and it's like normal. He likes to sit next to me when I'm on either the desktop, or on the couch on my netbook.
