I like Camus - Absurdism is a small part of my personal philosophy.
On another note, I was getting an error when I tried to donate, Den. |
Ahhhhh! RUN! Quetzalcoatl(sp) has KITTY FACE!
Yeah. The guy in 'Electric Sheep' was saving to buy a sheep. |
Kittyzalcoatl?
(Was actually what I was going for...that and the "rainbow snake" idea) |
LOL! Now I'm tempted to make a similar creature in my RP stories.
*hugga Law* |
I'd be ahead of you on that...but I am now going to be overworked until next Friday. @__@
|
so it turns out the interview was gonna be an additional hour's drive from where I normally go for job interviews... and would've been for a traveling salesperson job. with Percy-car being unreliable, I had to cancel the interview.
Law, I'm not sure why it wouldn't let you donate... :/ |

Oh wait. On what? Quote:
Oh no, Den! I'm so sorry. *hug* |

Medieval report, Physics - Virtual Python programming and Vector Gravity, Survey paper, and Beowulf/Nibelungslied comparison presentation.
|
...is it wrong that I saw "Vector Gravity" and misread it as "Vector Prime"?
|
Not at all xD
Though it makes me wonder what vector means on Cybertron. "Unit Vector" would be sort of like "Prime" as unit vectors are vectors with a value of 1... |
XD Vector Prime was the guardian of Time and Space. Cool old guy with a neat accent.
And I read your list and felt dizzy, Law. But the wind blew my brains out today, and I kinda felt dizzy anyway. |
Well, I currently am looking at no sleep and dizzy myself, so don't feel bad xD

About 2 hours.
Oh, nebula! The Vpython (Virtual Python, Python being a programming language) lab we did last Friday involved making planetary motion models. |
Well that sounds fun, at least?
*is COLD* |
Oh my goodness your avatars!
*jealous* o3o |
Guys, my guest comic on Tam's and my friend, Sara's, webcomic is live. And the story is 100% true, even if I botched the drawing of the building and parking lot (I think they paved over it a few years back, but when I worked there, it was gravel.)
ETA: And Vector Prime was funny, too. Tam, remember the comment he made about his own butt? |

Winter, if you want one of the suits like Tam's got, I have a whole lot of them in my shop. *points to the selling thread in her signature*

I learnt this week about Pluto having weather. |
Here, have something cute and funny pertaining to DnD to read. *grin*
|
That is awesome! Makes me wonder...maybe something like compacted and stored snow was applied to the face on a stick to cool off in "olden times"
|
Ahh haha I don't have any monies *wiggles* I just bought a bunch of hairs XD
|
|
Haha you are a silly goose! ^_^
|
Noooo. Law's a kitty snake! XD
Law, did I ever tell you about my character Lou, and its race? |
No, you didn't
*Puts on ears* I'm all ears! |
Lou (one version, anyway) is a hydraoid being who happily chatters away like a roomful of teenage girls. Lou's people don't look even remotely human, they're a pearly white stalk that's around nine foot tall, with long thin tentacles on top. Lou is a doctor, and beings of other races think that Lou has a great bedside manner despite Lou's initially frightening appearance.
|
Did anyone else see the lunar eclipse tonight? :3
|
Lou looks like my kind of guy! xD
Where did you get the idea for him? How does he communicate? And no, clouds in my area...well, motivation to live 18 more years. :) |
Den, tell peeps what you said about it, if you want?
Law: LOL Lou will be quick to tell you that Lou is not a guy. Lou proudly goes by "it". And Lou's got some sort of sound making device that gives a nice-sounding tenor voice. I think it may be a translator for the actual method of communication, but I've not figured out what the actual method is. Where did I get the idea... 0_0 I have no idea. Which is funny, because in the novella that Lou is mentioned in, nearly every other character has a very long history with me. I DO know that Lou loves PBJ. Especially with raisin bread. In another storyline Lou is a fairy being of a wind-oriented race. This Lou talks just as much and is just as interested in science and PBJ, but is since everyone thought Lou was an X-gene mutant Lou never had a chance at any fancy education. So this Lou works as a messenger in NYC, changing into a falcon to carry the messages and yelling gleefully all the way. This Lou also identifies with "it", because Lou is one of those people who are born that there is no clear way to say "boy" or "girl". This Lou thinks that the answer to all sadness is to hold on with your feet, flap your arms, and YELL. (speaking of characters... The one that Den's dressed as right now has an interesting story too.) |
>.> I like Lou more now. (I enjoy the term "it"...so much less confusion/classification...and so much more potential for cheesy horror like the Thing)
...I have an alien Mimic Octopus; a walking mass of bones, death, and swamp lichen; a family of half-dragons based on Baldur's Gate/NWN; a "hero-killer" assassin/slave from the Byzantine Empire; a Native American Diver/Navigator...who is a bird-man; a sentient beetle hive in the form of a soldier and a horse; a fungus making werebats; an giant intelligent immortal Cambrian chimera; a future-soldier; a headless phantom of the ossuary; an ax-crazy brain-computer girl who likes to make illusions to scare people; et cetera...and Lou is the more bizarre - it reminds me of a fungus xD |
Law, some of your kids sound like they'd be right at home with the nutbars that Den and I write.
"Hydra /ˈhaɪdrə/ is a genus of small, fresh-water animals of the phylum Cnidaria and class Hydrozoa, native to the temperate and tropical regions. [2][3] Biologists are especially interested in Hydra because of their regenerative ability; they appear not to age or die of old age." 0_0 Wow. Lou gonna live ferevers. |
The eclipse was a Super Harvest Blood Moon. The last one was in 1982, and the next is in 2033. :3
The character I'm dressed as today is one of my OCs, whose race is one I came up with the initial idea for back in 5th and 6th grade. I'd gotten heavily into reading Animorphs books, and wanted a critter that'd fit in that setting... at one point, I even had a mask I'd made of one of the characters I created. Fast forward about ten years, and I needed a race for an RP I was going to participate in, so I dug up the stuff I'd written down (there wasn't much, sadly). I gave 'em a new name, and new racial qualities, and started fleshing them out. The RP fell through, but I liked the critters, so I adapted them to when Tam and I write. My av is one of the "polar" critters in her human form. |
Andey lives on Earth, and goes to Virginia Tech.
