on my way home from work today I saw a pair of shoes under a bench they had no laces I thought why would someone leave a pair of shoes but keep the laces to hang themselves. . .

That's an interesting though. Maybe it was a mateiral consciencous homelesss person who needed laces but decided to leave the boots themselves for someone else? Or maybe mystery person is keeping the laces so no one else gets the idea to hang themselves with them.

Even weirder if it had been one shoe.

That's always a possibility. Laces can be used for a lot of stuff, shoes are just shoes and can be used without the laces if need be too. So maybe someone just needed the laces but not the shoes like Quiet said...

There's a corner on my university busroute around the hippy end of town where people just leave stuff. It seems to be a communal thing since the items change all the time.

I once made laces out of newspaper. xD Just cause... well, it's a long story. lolz

I use newpapers to pack things and start fires but that's about it. Oh, and I do read them on occasion. Contemplating how one would manage to pull off laces...twist up teeny strips and braid them together?

So much happened during my transit time between houses. Laces out of newspaper huh? Sounds like it would be a temporary fix at best.

Also, I agree with the hating using noses idea. none of them work for me. most of them aren't even made to match this skin tone, since I'm the only regularly active person who uses it. there's a couple people who pop in now and again who also use the mocha skin tone, but I don't see it a lot at all.

I like using a darker than white skin tone but not usually as dark as yours Lucid. The skin tones I used in my entries on the avatar contest is the shade I use for most of my online avatars. Well for games, I don't go to any other avatar sites ^^;

This is the first avatar site I've encounterd. Don't really plan on going to any others really. This is just fine for my purposes. :)

I do like that skin tone you use, Serra. if I ever want/need to look lighter for whatever reason, I use that one. I think one of my mules might be that skin tone, I don't actually remember because I haven't been on her in a while.
