We have tofu at the grocery store here, but my mom doesn't get it because she doesn't know how to utilize it properly. Even if she did... she would have me use it instead.

Reyo doesn't deal well with nori either. I ask the sushi chef at the grocery store to leave out the nori.

around here sushi is just the raw fish =/ its what it's called at Yamato.. the stuff with nori are called sushi rolls x.x,
there for when 'i' eat sushi.. around here i'm eating raw fish xD not rice with nori wrapped around it =p |

The tea bar I visit has lots of kinds of sushi rolls, and they make it without nori if you ask. They also have beef bowls, eel rice, sandwiches, and brick toast! I love going in there for lunch and having a beef bowl with a coconut milk tea with boba. Then I get some of their taro-flavored frozen yogurt with brownie chunks and chocolate chips. |
