It's not really that awful, but thinking about how I have to go back just doesn't make me all that happy. I'm not even sure if any of my friends will have classes on the same days next semester.

My school is full of rednecks and med students. It makes for some interesting conversations to be overheard in the dining hall.

I go to Polk State College. I'm on the campus that shares with the University of Southern Florida Polytechnic campus. They recently replaced almost all the oak trees with friggin' PALM TREES!!! There's pretty much zero shade in the courtyards now.

@Yoko: Think Jeff Foxworthy, white trailer trash, confederate flags, dirty old pickup trucks, and chew tobacco.

@Moon: I'm doing fairly well, all things considered. After all, I still have a roof over my head, clean water to drink, AC, and a stable internet connection.

@Poggio: They were dug up from the roots and removed. The only ones left are the ones scattered about the parking lot, and those are rather few and far between.

Nah, nothing necessarily bad happened, but I'm getting tired of being on vacation. It's so mundane. I do the same things every day. At least when I'm going to classes a couple days a week I'm getting out of the house some.

Meh, I dunno. I guess it's because they seems to be moving rather quickly, and I'm working on getting price estimates for Yaoicon down. Thus far the cheapest flights are from Tampa to San Francisco, and the tickets will be about $315 per person.
