I'm super excited because I caved and bought the dragon sculpture chainmail pattern that I've been wanting for ages and it actually doesn't look that hard to make honestly, so I want to get home and dig around to see if I have the right rings to make it.
The only really disappointing thing is that they don't really give too detailed of information on what rings go where. For example, for the rings for the body, they list 2 different ring sizes, but I've gone over the pattern several time and can't find any mention of where they use the second size they give. And for the tail, they again list 3 ring sizes, but don't specify which rings to use for what part of the tail. though that part, at least, gives visual clues in the photo of the finished piece, which shows that the tail gets smaller and thinner the closer to the tip, so you can assume that you start with the biggest rings and work down to the smallest. XP But still. If you're gonna make the point of making an almost $6 pattern, the least you could do is fully explain the projects in it better. I know it's an intermediate pattern, but honestly, even people who have mastered all the "beginner" weaves probably could do with a refresher on some stuff. *shrug* But maybe that's just me. Another annoyance is that in the project, there are at least 2 weaves mentioned (both for the tail) that they don't even have any kind of other instructions for on their site, even separate from the dragon pattern and they don't even so much as list where you could find instructions for the weaves. So....if you haven't stumbled across the Trizantine Weave (which I have literally only found 1 tutorial for on youtube) or Double Cable Weave (which I think is either a weave more commonly referred to as double spiral or is just a 2 in 2 chain, but I can't tell), you're on your own for making (improvising with whatever weaves you want) the tail. |

this close to outright snapping at someone because they're not even being subtle about ignoring me when we used to be friends. boy do i want to RIP THEM TO SHREDS. percival would VERY MUCH like it if he wasn't fucking ignored all the time.
percival also has a party on his birthday. he doesn't even like parties. his niece will be there, and he can only tolerate a screaming little bastard child for small amounts at a time. of course, his mother is a twat and doesn't fucking listen to him. |
;U; not sure if it's my depression or my period that is acting up...but I just really want to cry and do absolutely nothing but rot away in my bed alone. I was a stupid doopis and I hate that I get like this every time I make a single mistake..
Also, B[ I'm not bleeding as much as I thought I would and it's making me upset at myself, and I'm already upset at myself, so I'll just keep on keepin' on and hope I don't bleed at all tomorrow. >B/ Also also, you can't make me go to church MOM! >x{ I'm a grown ass woman and I know it doesn't work for me! I'm not goin'! >8[ I don't care if ya call me a heathen! >xC You can't make me go! |

Dropped a plate on my foot last night so now I have a bruise on the top of one foot and a scabbed over wound on the top of the other.
XP Sorry feet, I promise I don't actually hate you. |

I have to get good at saying that three times fast, because if I can then I can enchant an ally to be able to cast spells without having to speak the full incantation.

Feeling a bit silly having just bought more toys for Derpy...
XD I'm just a big (almost) 32 year-old kid.. |
so that makes me an almost 50-year-old kid, right?
|
Only if you have also bought toys for a toy!
XD |

I could use the facehugger toy.
|
Honestly, the weedwhacker is a bit odd, but the rest are not such strange toys. Tbh, I think I actually had a ball like that when I was a young kid. And Derpy could totally build a box fort and hang out with the bird in it.
XD |
I have a ton of pool noodles. I use them for swordfighting! (Same game as the tongue twister spell.)
|
>u> It wasn't a childhood toy but the weed whacker was definitely played with too often.
@ Kaderin: Did the ball vibrate and play Wipe Out??? 8o Cause that's what mine did! @Coda: >xD Ah, I used the pool noodles as water tubas. x'D |
*growl* i'm tired of my boss not getting the coronavirus stuff "why are they closing schools? why this, why that, why the economy... over something that might happen..."
my mom asked me if my boss was a trump supported. i replied "how'd you guess?" and the trumpists in the Senate rejected a package that included free testing for everyone, because mcconnell is an a$$. sorry, just shouting my frustrations at my boss and the idjits in DC into the void |
:/ My school is canceling face-to-face lectures for a couple weeks or so as a precaution, since there haven't been any confirmed cases on campus.
I'm so happy to not go to class, pay for parking, stay for an hour and then drive home! 8c Our class stuff will be moved online temporarily. Although, it's sad that people are both panicking and wandering about with poor health habits and allowing the virus to spread. B[ I'm not surprised anymore. I've accepted that brains are in short supply. At least for now I'm allowed to be a hermit in peace without judgment. <:'] |

my younger daughter's college has cancelled the rest of the semester for in-person classes - they're going to online classes, which resume the 23rd... spring break is this week, but we still have to go back out across the state to move her out of the dorm on sunday. weird semester this has turned out to be.... |

i don't remember much from middle school, less from elementary school. i kinda remember high school and college, but it all really feels like 5 life-times ago....
|
I remember certain events from when I was younger, but the majority of smaller things are just....blanks.
Of course, I could say that about most events 5+ years ago probably. My life is just so boring and tedious that it's so easy to jumble everything togther and just remember the "big" events. Tbh, I actually even forgot how old Shade and Batty are (they turn 8 and 7 this year, respectively) until I was talking it out one day. |
I remember a lot from High School and Elementary.
;_; Mostly because I have a good long term memory but a decently weak short term memory. But also because school was unkind to me, and even some of the students... More so in Elementary than High School, >.> since I later developed a good defense mechanism and was shielded by my friend group. But in Elementary, I had to constantly fight back bullying and ostracizing peers, B/ which was annoying as hell and terribly lonely as one of the only tomboys... Middle school tho was kinda forgettable. xD Not much happened besides me being introduced to anime, and getting into video games more. |
i remember i was picked on for liking to read and write stories, but i don't remember many of the details. and i've learned that they way i remember things were not the way they actually were, but rather my perception
