I know what you mean. If I ever want a costume, I would get a hand made one - by myself or someone skilled - rather than some poor quality store bought drivel.

I want to cosplay! But..I can only think on one character I'd like to do, and really I don't want to wear what she wears (how ironic) so maybe I should choose someone else. xD BAH |
Cosplay is all about being the character being out side box of what they wear most times. Like bi cosplay japan from hetalia I have done different verions of him. Like I have done his normal one, black japan, and visual kei japan next on my list is bed time japan and j rock.

For me I did Hetalia I did casual oriental China, Military China, S&M China, I so want to do his last years halloween outfit, Bedtime China. I've done Aristocrat Austria and his 7 year War Austria

I don't know enough about those characters to recognize them in other dress.

So it wouldn't be odd then for me to dress in something other than her norm, Nikko? To be honest she's probably fairly recognizable, and she has cool outfits, I'm just not totally comfortable with the idea of wearing them. If I had an animated body, maybe xD |

A little that is why I don't have him in my name any more or other things realted to him so I was like when the con comes on the 25th I should have him ready again.
