Going to the casino and gaining tickets. . . I've sold mine for 2 each, and I usually gain about 1000 before I'm done, but you can easily sell them for 3-5. I'm just much more lucky and nice.

I find it easier to earn currency here than on Gaia, but that might be because the grant rate here goes by letter and word count instead of how often you've posted that day D:

Tris is more forum based in regards to currency. Gaia used to be like that until they brought in mini games and the like. It increased the rate that players got, nothing that was bought from NPC's would get sold back, and eventually bartering licenses were free. When I first played, about 6 years back, I would've been so lucky as to getting 500 for clothes let alone, 1000 for the bartering license. =_= That shit took a painstakingly long time.

And back when Gaia was like this I also enjoyed it a lot more. I started on Gaia about 8 years ago. And back then 100k was a ton. Now a mil is nothing D: I'm licky to have a mil at this point. I have no rps in forums because no one is able to check them on there when you can get NOTIFICATIONS! And check your subscriptions/created threads D: So I post no where. zOMG gold has been killed so there went my other way to get gold.

I have not been back on gaia since they made the Zomg game super easy for wimpish people that couldn't play the game correctly the first time. I miss the challenge. They also should have never taken the market cap off of its market. I recall when you could only sell items for up to 999999.

I mean I agree with letting people charge what they will because people won't buy it if it costs too much-basic law of economics. You would be surprised how many people know nothing about the invisible hand. Lets say I were to sell my gothic veil and its the only one on the market place, I set the price it becomes standard for others even if its artificially inflated for my own needs. Thus raising the value of the item to ridiculous proportions. If some one wants it badly enough they will save up to my price. Then once its gone another one pops up for the same value because they saw what I did, and how much money I made off of it. The people that continue to want the item fall into the trap of having to pay a high price.

Gaia doesn't have too many gold sinks that can keep inflation down and keep people working for its gold. That and the easy ability to make your self rich by simply buying a cash card.

Yes, that's true, but if you were to do that with certain items, they wouldn't sell no matter what. And if I had one of those items, in the marketplace, I purposefully lower my price so mine will sell and others may not -shrugs- Either way, I rarely buy any items on gaia because the gold shop gets neglected and everything else costs cash which they don't have many "free" offers...where most of them aren't free.

Gaia needs to make better gold shop items. It needs to change the posting thing to how much you post and penalize spammers. Because I'd rather see one long bullshit post I can skip over instead of five billion small bull shit posts -shrugs-

I find it impossible to find rps there. Either they want a novel...or don't do yaoi. One of the two, always one of the two.

XD all you would have to do is watch the market trends and wait for the price to start going back up. Gaia made it super easy to play the stock game with the tek tek website. If you monitor the item you want to sale and when demand for it starts to go up sell it then.

I have no been back to the gold shops since they opened the millionaire shop. I thought that was silly and the items were not worth that much, also that moose scared the ever living day lights out of me.

I found a yaoi club that had pretty good rps but I was at that point always afraid of getting banned for content. That and there is no such thing as a switch on Gaia. There are to many subs on that site and it drives me nuts.

Anything that puts children in an adult situation where they are not past the age of consent and do not understand what is expected of them does not sit well with me.
