It's not a poem, it's a song! (I also didn't make it.)

Y'know what's fantastic? When you're modding a game with absolutely garbage documentation, and you just wanna know how to update the mod on the workshop, but the only mod support is a channel in a discord server full of living brick walls!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!

oh-...oh my god...that was...amazing. <x'D and adorable. I love it! It reminds me of breadfish!

Now imagine... In the mid-90s, people would set this as their screensaver.

Music and all.

Merskelly Metalien 08-15-2019 05:09 PM

I believe it entirely. ;-; it is an era of the internet that I was not a part of, but was only lightly exposed to. <3

Coda 08-15-2019 05:18 PM

Ah... Pre-Internet. (Or at least, pre-World Wide Web.) This was a software package that you would buy from the store on a set of disks.

Merskelly Metalien 08-15-2019 05:36 PM

;w; Awwhh I remember when stuff was on disks! And you needed multiple ones to download stuff. <x}
I was only 3 or 4, but my parent's room was full of floppy disks. And then thumb drives came out. x}

I remember when Windows 95 first got USB support. It was such a big deal back then.

Merskelly Metalien 08-15-2019 05:55 PM

;U; I remember when Titanic came out on VHS, but it came in two parts so it was a box of two cassettes for the entire movie to fit on. <xD We still have it somewhere probably! ahaha!
We had a rewinding machine for standard VHS tapes because we rented a lot at Hollywood Video, may it rest in peace, and always had to rewind rentals because it was the kind thing to do. <x3 Be kind, rewind. Ah, good times.

I kinda miss having to turn the computer off manually and replacing that last screen you get to see until you actually press the power switch with random other funny images.

KittyBeary 08-16-2019 06:39 AM

This is the greatest screensaver uwu

Stabbsworth 08-16-2019 07:49 AM

steam wallet card isn't working. <:)
best idea that i have currently is that it takes a while to activate so the code can actually be entered, but i have no idea on that one.

EDIT: Apparently it needed to be input in a web browser instead of the client.
Steam's Client is very very stupid.
