Heard of it but haven't tried it. Never thought to try it though. I tend to stick with what I know until someone stuff something into my face. Then I'll try it.

Kettle is done! *whoosh*

Serena Yuy 03-08-2012 01:26 PM

I have not much to do today. I know i need to shower, but I'm waiting for my mom to shower.
I haven't made tea yet either ^^"

Fauxreal 03-09-2012 08:20 PM

*showers you all in decaffinated coffee!* *muaahaaahaaahaa*

Quiet Man Cometh 03-09-2012 11:32 PM

I drink decaf at night. Doesn't taste any different. I forgot to bring some with me out at the farm here though. Alas!

Serena Yuy 03-10-2012 02:53 AM

Drinking my chamomile tea. I'm sad. I'm almost out. :( I need to see if my boyfriend would mind taking me to the store so I can pick up some more.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-10-2012 07:40 AM

Tea-d out again. Going with cider for now. I'm pretty sure the stuff is a few years old by now but powder in packages is generally pretty hard to kill, and I seem to be tough. ;).

Should not be awake now. I need to feed the dogs and horse in a few hours. Blah. Be nice if it will stop raining. I left my &*%#ty Weather Tea at home.

Serena Yuy 03-10-2012 12:32 PM

I would like to buy more tea sometime soon.
Ack! I have to get up and feed the cats.. That isn't a bad thing since one of the cats is my kitty. But, it means I have to get up and clean up my mom's dog's poop because he poops in the house at night. -.- And she can't be bothered to wake up and put him outside when he tries to wake her. -.-

That's mean to the poor doggy! Maybe you could make a little turf box for him? It worked for my sister's mastff after she had puppies and the stairs were difficult for her. Put some turf in a box on the upper landing of the porch but a small box could be put inside. At least somewhere so the dog feels like it has a spot to go instead of stressing all the time. Most dogs I know don't like having to poo inside if they can avoid it. They know it's bad and stresses them out.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-10-2012 03:54 PM

Blah! Double posting again. Either the website or my router is being disagreable right now.

Serena Yuy 03-10-2012 04:17 PM

My mom has a big 130lb dog. ^^"
We're probably going to put him in the kitchen until we can get this bedroom thing situated so I can go into my room and she can go back into hers and maybe the dog will stop since he can sleep in bed with her.

Fauxreal 03-10-2012 10:38 PM

QMC has HORSEIES and PUPPIES!! Aren't they hard to take care of?! (the horses I mean?)

Serena Yuy 03-10-2012 10:46 PM

I just like having my kitty. He's a bit easier.. If I just keep up on his box.

What? So little? ;).

They're my older sister's animals. The horse is easy. Just feed him, pick up after him, and otherwise let him amuse himself. I can't ride and am not horse savy enough to want to try brushing him without ties.

The mastiffs are pretty basic, minus the dog hair and the slobber. There are three of them, the biggest just shy of 300 pounds I think (she breeds big dogs. ;)) My family seems to have dogs that are either huge or tiny. I had a toy spaniel and my brother has a pom-chi. The mastiffs are exceedingly well trained, so they are quite easy to manage, when they aren't hoping for pats and stepping on my feet in the process.

And just for the record, my sister is a big a tea person that mom and I are. ;). Must run in the family I suppose.

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 01:56 AM

I'm not a fan of big dogs. ^^" I get annoyed quick by the dog. I'm fine with one of my brother-in-law's dogs. One of them has a chorkie who is 2yrs old and weighs less than my cat. I'm fine with him until he gets a little angry and the chihuahua comes out in him. When I'm over I try to play with him a little bit so he will stop being so energetic all the time and spaz out. I don't think my boyfriend's brother (brother in law) really plays with him as much as he should. ^^"

Fauxreal 03-11-2012 12:41 PM

Mastiffs! <3 So cute! <3 I would love a bigger dog, but it's just that the mountains of poop! *faints* I have the laziest border collie / aussie on the PLANET! And for being a dog... she's such a scardy cat. But she is my baby. <3<3<3

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 12:48 PM

I hate having to deal with the mountains of poop. My mom's dog poops every morning because he can't be bothered to wake my mom up... So, I'm usually greeted by a giant pile of his which makes me have to take care of it first before I can feed my diabetic cat. -.-
I hate having to live with a dog this big. I can't wait to move out and it just be my cat. At least if his box is clean, he poops in it.

Fauxreal 03-11-2012 01:03 PM

I'm so thankful when I adopted my little girl, she was house trained. That girl has a steal bladder! She's such a lover! <3 I should walk her longer, but I'm so lazy.

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 01:08 PM

Oh, this dog is trained to hold it and go outside. But, for some reason he has issues and will poop in the house instead of actually waking my mom... That or she just doesn't get up to let him out.
I know when she goes back upstairs and I'm downstairs, she better not try to send the dog down to make me let him out. Not my dog. I also have a baby gate on my door to block the dog from getting in so he can't get to the cat box or to the cats (my room is always a cat sanctuary) So, it's not like I'll be able to know anyway :P

Fauxreal 03-11-2012 01:23 PM

I make sure my my little girl goes out three times a day. When she's angry, I'm lucky - she'll just ignore me, she doesn't chew up my shoes, she doesn't pee on my bed, she's such a good girl! <3

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 01:35 PM

This dog always seems to need to go outside. -.- This is why I don't want a dog. Well.. There are other reasons that this one and other dogs I've had to live with are enforcing. I'm just not a dog person. ^^"

Fauxreal 03-11-2012 02:18 PM

It's all good. I myself, just love animals in general. If I could afford it I'd have guinea pigs, and maybe a piggie piggie as well. And a goat! And rabbits, and a chicken - not to mention my kitties and doggies. And rats! And maybe a bat. And a Russian silver fox, and a fennic fox.

I think you get the idea... I should just buy a zoo.

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 02:38 PM

Yeah, you should just buy one :p

I used to have 3 cats here and a guinea pig along with my mom's dog. But, one of the kitties died in October, and my piggy died a month ago :(

Quiet Man Cometh 03-11-2012 03:44 PM

Heh. I really am more of a lapdog person. I love all dogs and will look after them but a mastiff head on your lap is like a bowling ball. My sister's dogs are big by current standards. I had a cavlaier. Lap sitter extraordinaire.

The toy spaniels are my favourites. I might look into a Japanese Chin or a Tibetan Spaniel one of these days if I don't get another Cavie. Might even look at the English Toy. The mushed in face seems to grow on one.

And I suppose we ought to get back to tea again one of these times. ;). Most of the dogs I've bumped into that go for caffinated beverages seem to be coffee drinkers. ;)

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 03:52 PM

I like my boyfriend's brother's dog. He's a chorkie (though I don¨t like his attitude issues at times) He does sit on my lap and curl up and enjoy sitting near me ^^

hmmm what tea am I in the mood for.

Fauxreal 03-11-2012 10:37 PM

I can drink a long island iced tea... does that count?

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 10:39 PM

ummm I dunno if that counts as tea ;p

Quiet Man Cometh 03-11-2012 10:40 PM

If there's tea in it I supposed it counts. Not much for boozey beverages myself.

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 10:43 PM

I don't think there's tea in it *lol* ;)

Fauxreal 03-11-2012 10:44 PM

Well... they call it tea? I'm not a boozy type either, but I thought it would be funny. ;)

Quiet Man Cometh 03-11-2012 10:45 PM

Made with iced tea isn't it? Though it tends to be the canned or carton variety as far as I know. Not that I'm really aware of such things. I have only a vague notion of what's actually in one.

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 10:49 PM

Wiki page for Long Island Iced Tea
Some variants do have iced tea in there, but it's usually the mix of the liquor (there's dark liquor in there that's mixed in) and a splash of cola. ^^

The kind I drink usually doesn't have "tea" per say... *LOL!*

Serena Yuy 03-11-2012 11:15 PM

lol ^^
Yesterday was the first time I really drank in over a month ^^"

Fauxreal 03-12-2012 02:29 PM

It's very expensive. Drinking.
How much do you people spend on tea a month?!

Serena Yuy 03-13-2012 12:59 AM

Yeah, which is why I don't drink a lot. That and I don't like to drink a lot all the time ^^"
Saturday I shall partake in drinking with my boyfriend.

I don't spend that much a month on tea. To be honest, I don't remember ^^"

Fauxreal 03-13-2012 01:03 AM

I don't spend that much on coffee, Thank goodness - if not I'd have to stop drinking it. But it's so convenient!

Quiet Man Cometh 03-13-2012 01:04 AM

Probably around $15 or so, not much relatively speaking. I get a lot as gifts and have so many kinds now that the need to buy new stuff doesn't come around often. The exception of course, is buying tea in restaurants but I usually lump that with eating out ;). Most of the time I make my tea at home rather than get anything when I'm out.

Serena Yuy 03-13-2012 01:05 AM

I know I need to buy another box of Chamomile tea, I'm almost out. ^^"

Edit: I don't usually buy a lot of tea from the coffee shops. I usually make my tea at home. That and I have a lot of teas I get from family
