neat.
mine usually lasts for seven. also, bath night tonight. i don't like bathing as in it consumes too much energy, and we don't have the money to get a shower fitted. |
our showerhead will have to be replaced soon, the water is full of calcium and it junks things up
|
showering takes much less time.
idk how long base washdowns take tbh. |
depends. it can go fast or slow depending on your briskness, how clean a person you are and how cold the water is x'''D
|
i am not that clean of a person but it doesn't affect me too much.
|
i reeeeaaaaaaaaally don't like to be unclean. it's easier to be natty when i am sick but i still don't like it
|
ye, i get you. there's actually some dirt on my thumb joint, which is how i sort of know that i need to bathe.
|
;3; you break my heart
|
gestures quietly
also, being hyperaware of how your bra fits kinda sucks tbh. |
i wouldn't know about that

Longest I've gone without bathing or showering was three months...
It was a bad time in my life. I used to be super clean. I'm taking like showers at least twice a day, and brushing my teeth three times a day at the very least. Since then, I've struggled with keeping myself clean. Those three months really f*cked up my perception of clean vs. not. It's been hard to get myself back into the habit of daily washing. In a good week, I might shower like twice... I think it's a mixture of lazy and also my lack of caring for how I look. I don't shave or anything either... But I feel much more confident in myself when I am hairy vs. when I shave. I don't know why? It's weird, I guess! I usually always have dirty hands because I take care of my plants every day. I know some people get grossed out when you put your hands in dirt and then handle food. Or if you pick something from a garden and eat it straight away without washing it. I grew up in the woods, so it's normal to me to eat produce without washing it off first. Here in LA, everyone's really into cleanliness, though! |
>.>; I can always tell when I need a shower, because then my hair gets grimy and starts to easily be plucked out..
Usually gets like that within 3-4 days time. So I shower every other day.. |
Eee!
That's a good indicator of needing a wash, though! Since my hair is curly, it does the opposite when it needs to be washed; it gets really dry and sometimes even flaky when it's time for a wash. And it will smell sometimes too, but only if you stick your face in it. I try to wash my hair about twice a week, or like you said, once every 3-4 days. My products are expensive though, I always have to use special shampoos and conditions because I have an afro. Also I've got like three different textures all on the same head >3< Different textures require different care/products. I also always always use products not tested on animals, so it's even harder and more expensive to find the right products >:T |
>u>; Likewise, I don't find the need to shave to be very strong..
I shave when I want. I usually don't want to. But grooming is important. >.>; If only I could stick to my grooming habits more however.. |
I feel you on that!
When something throws a wrench in the routine, it's hard to get back into it, I think. I'm usually pretty stinky sometimes since I tend to forget to use deodorant lol, so I totally feel you on the grooming part. It's not that I don't want to, it's just that since I've gone those months without grooming or really any hygiene at all, it's been extra hard for me to get back into that habit of hygiene. You know what I mean? I have chores written on my bathroom mirror to help, But while showering, brushing teeth, and general grooming was once second nature for me, now I have to consciously put effort into it. :T Shaving is something I prefer not to do though! We can be hairy gals together!!! OuO |
can't be arsed to shave tbh.
