I just haven't had time to read lately. Doing other stuff.
Today I did 3 loads of laundry, made some candles, made dinner. Seems like the days aren't long enough. When I'm in Florida I hope to have lots of time to read.

Goal is to read the books my friend loaned to me and the books in my shelf I haven't read. Time to get reading and knowledge!

i'm still reading my first book for the year. :)

I mean...technically I started reading it in 2016...but I finished it (and read most of it) in 2017.

it just so happened, my last book of 2016 i finished on the 31st!

and started my current book on the 5th. =)

Nice! I have 2 other partially read books to finish, then I'm back to starting them from the beginning.

They are Green Rider by Kristen Britain and When True Night Falls by C.S. Friedman.
Technically I also was part way through Roots, but I am barely into it, so I'll probably just start it over from the beginning.

can't say i'm familiar with those....

but i have a TON of book series that i read that i need to catch up on when i'm done this last Star Wars trilogy. =)

I'm not surprised. I tend to read less-popular series'.

Usually it starts when I find a book on clearance that sounds interesting...and then I go from there...

I don't like reading series.
I like when I finish a book to be done with it.
Usually if I find a book I want to read has a sequel or is part of a series, I don't read it.

i love series. kinda like my tv series, too. =)
