Yeah it gets really cold, next Friday should be a high of 9! now that is very cold, those days are just miserable, you don't even want to go out anywhere. Lee you are right, its all their precipitation, they have a name for crunchy snow, etc. Poti: yeah that book was VERY sorrowful, I should have known it would be heartbreaking and it totally was. |

Well where I live they have a phrase for weather: a mixed bag!
We get snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain, wet snow, dry snow, sideways rain, sideways snows, wind. Sometimes I look out the window and its like a frozen tundra. The worst is that in the mid/late fall, the sun just does not come out. We have not had a sunny day in over a month. The sun may peak through but that is it for the day. Just sunless, grey skies. |

You enjoy that. x'DD I know it's got a lot of great sites and beaches--one of my aunties used to live down there, and we'd visit occasionally--but I still can't help but think of it as the state where old people go to die.
