Well, if you put a sock on in which it is, you're gonna squish it, and of course it bites you, anyone bites you.
And I have been near spiders, even touched, and they haven't bitten me. So, I don't think it goes for ALL spiders. You can even tame spiders. XD

You don't have to mess with a spider for it to bite you, you just have to put your hand somewhere near it, or lay near it, or put on a sock that it crawled in. Your intent to do it harm does not factor into it wanting to kill you.

I played with many poisonus ones when I was little and never got bit. =p

There are no poisonous anything here. Bugs here sucks.

Sadrain 08-16-2010 05:33 PM

You don't even have a bumblebee in Sweden? o3o

Yuki 08-16-2010 05:35 PM

Those aren't poisonous, well maybe they are but hell you wont die. <.<; Anything that wont kill you isn't poisonous enough to care about. I have only been stung by a bee once.

Anyone who has ever done research on poisonous spiders should not like spiders.

Otherwise, they just flat-out have no sense of self preservation.

Go look up a Brown Recluse spider bite in Google. Brown Recluse is maybe the fifth or sixth deadliest spider in the world, and their bites can kill you in less than three days. They start off looking like mosquito bites for the first day, and then your skin rots away around the bite area, and then the toxin stops your heart and lungs and you're dead, absolutely no chance of surviving. In three days.

And there are much more aggressive spiders, too. The South American Wandering Spider will actually chase you down in order to try and kill you. They sometimes get transported out of their native habitat via fruit crates, especially bananas, and can be found hundreds of miles away from South America.

If you played with any poisonous spiders and didn't end up dead, it's because you were lucky - not because spiders are harmless.

Eew...omg yeah...we once got a scorpion in the fruit in elementary school. My brother saw it and when I asked about it they tried to deny it. <w< But I mean the fruit wasn't even from Sweden so that could happen.

Sadrain 08-16-2010 05:42 PM

There are people who can die from bumblebee/bee stings, but it's kinda rare, yeah.
Bumblebees and bees are cute. >o<

Yuki 08-16-2010 05:43 PM

Oh yeah some may die from ONE mosquito bite too. But like you said, rarely. I had 114 mosquito bites and I was fine.

johnny 08-16-2010 05:44 PM

My name (in real life) means Bee. :3

I don't mind bees as long as they stay away from me. But I hate wasps/hornets. They're completely useless. At least bees pollinate and make honey and stuff. I think wasps pretty much just live to sting and hurt things. :/

Yuki 08-16-2010 05:45 PM

My friend got stung in the ear. xB

Sadrain 08-16-2010 05:54 PM

Oh, yea, wasps are a little annoying, but if they're here... well... I am so not gonna kill it. @o@;

Sorry, I don't like drools on my head. ;>.> -shakes Ascuba off- They always get in my ears.

Sei 08-16-2010 05:55 PM

I hate all forms of flying bugs: bees, wasps, mosquitoes, and flies. If I could remove them all, I would. >;\

AceValkyrie 08-16-2010 05:58 PM

I think i have it figured out

Ascuba 08-16-2010 06:01 PM
