I'd recommend a password manager. Despite their tendencies toward aggressive marketing, they're a lot more valuable than other things marketed the same way (such as VPNs, which are pretty worthless on the modern Internet unless you're trying to bypass geolocation).

Decided not to drink da vodka. :/ Still uninterested in the game which is wrapping up. Commercials not too impressive. Only like 2 weird ones. and I have school tomorrow so, eh. <:/ *shrug* just spent time just doodling. ^-^

KittyBeary 02-02-2020 10:57 PM

I agree the commercials for the most part stink. They must've ran out of ideas.

I don't care for sports unless it's the olympics LOL so ehhhh it's whatever to me.

Merskelly Metalien 02-02-2020 11:00 PM

A lot of interceptions in this game tho. <x'D And one questionable touchdown. >w> Hehe, superbowl drama is fun. Yellow flags flyin' everywhere.
It was SF's game for the first 3 quarters, and now KC pulled a surprise mofo comeback. <x'D

Edit: <8D OH!! And what a SURPRISE MOFO comeback it was! <x'D KC scored another touchdown! Score SF:20 KC:31.
<w< My mom is NOT happy, lol!

KittyBeary 02-02-2020 11:06 PM

Yeah we lost. x_X Glad I don't care about football LOL.

Also why was I stupid back in 2016 and misplaced a pair of cosplay gloves that were already a hassle in getting(the seller forgot to send them first time so I had to nag them to send them so you would THINK I would be careful in where I put them LMAO apparently not....)

Merskelly Metalien 02-02-2020 11:12 PM

<X] I for one am glad for Kansas City.
:D The last time they won a superbowl was Superbowl IV! They deserve the win after 50 years I think. -u- I'm not a major football fanatic, >w< but I like a good game. This was a boring game that got good. <xD Darn! Better luck next year!

o_O on a separate note, I'm hungry for food. Wish I could eat those enchiladas over there on the counter, >~>; but I need to eat healthier...

i mean, i'd much prefer having this stuff written down.
also i used the wrong password three times while logging into my purrsonal tumblr. got it right on the fourth attempt because i realized at that point.

I wasn't a fan of ANY of the super bowl commercials this year.
Usually I love watching the commercials. But none of them really stuck out to me..
Granted, I wasn't really feeling like watching the super bowl at all this year... So I didn't even really watch any of the commercials. I just watched he halftime show and that was it.

! <:D Mg Ava, I'm so proud of you! And I really hope you've found solace in letting go of it, so you can begin feeling so much better. I know how hard it must have been for you to do that. <:[

Also, my favorite commercial was probably the Doritos one, but only because I kind of sort of remembered it. :/ Not very many weird or funny or memorable ones this time around...

Espy 02-03-2020 10:55 PM

Girl, you don’t need a guy like that. You’re better off without him. Ditch anyone for whom the blood, sweat, and tears aren’t mutual.

Kory 02-03-2020 11:40 PM

Oh my X'hal!
I meant to put that post in the Daily Awful. ^^;

I am so so grateful to have really kind friends.
I don't think I would be handling this so well if it weren't for the support of my friends.
<3

Merskelly Metalien 02-03-2020 11:56 PM

<:] I'm glad for you Ava. Support is import...ant. ^u^ Take the time you need to heal and move on and be in a better place of being. <3

Shout: Really wanna fool around with the TV Plug-N-Play classic arcade games, >.>; but I'm startin' to get really sleepy..*yawn* <x'{}

Coda 02-04-2020 12:03 AM

Speaking of arcade games... I finally got around to swapping out the guts of one of the Arcade1UP machines you can buy at Walmart. Now it can run basically whatever I want!

I stopped caring about Super Bowl commercials several years ago. It's just not the same anymore.

Stabbsworth 02-04-2020 12:06 PM

aye, ava, you're doing great.

just grumbles about asks because i'm tired and don't have the energy to explain why AO3 has a monopoly over fanfiction sites.

Kaderin Triste 02-04-2020 01:03 PM

Big hugs, Ava!

Eeeeeee! My first paycheck with my raise on it at the museum is enough to cover all my credit card bills (a couple of which, I paid a bit more than the minimum payment on) and still leaves me with just over $200 and that just has to last me until I get my JoAnn paycheck on Friday!
I'm gonna claw my way out of debt!
Granted the amount I actually take home is gonna change some once I update my W4s at both jobs, but still should be sufficient to cover my expenses and leave me a little more breathing room for buying groceries and indulgent purchases of Lost Kitties, furniture, and other assorted things to make my apartment look better than it does at the moment.
Although part of making the apartment pretty has to be me battling my mental issues and just getting it to a clean and organized state and keeping it there.

Anyone good at interior design want to help me figure out how to arrange my apartment so I have proper craft space but also a bit of a living room for the rare instance of a friend visiting? And possibly a small dining area/nook? In my approx 600-650sqft apartment? Lol.

I'm not bad at it! I just need to know the dimensions and floor plan of the apartment and the dimensions of your furniture.

Is there an easy way for me to make a floor plan?

I usually prefer to use graph paper so I can just do measurements and translate feet to inches or some similar scale. Otherwise you could use a paint program and convert at some sort of pixel scale, like 48 pixels = 1 foot (chosen so that 4 pixels = 1 inch, but really anything you like will work).

Graph paper is nice because you can do the same thing with your furniture. Cut out the furniture pieces, put a loop of masking tape on the back of each one, and you can rearrange the room on paper until you come up with something you like.

Kaderin Triste 02-04-2020 06:17 PM

...what if I don't have graph paper and my computer doesn't have internet (for the uploading/sharing of floorplan)...?
Lol

How, then, my dear, are you talking to me? ;)

Kaderin Triste 02-04-2020 06:26 PM

My phone.
But it doesn't have an art program on it.

Coda 02-04-2020 06:34 PM

Well, I suppose you can draw it out on a normal piece of paper and label the lengths of the lines, then take a picture with your phone and post that.

Kaderin Triste 02-04-2020 07:32 PM

Ahhhh....totally forgot that one of my planners had some graph paper in it!
Currently plotting out the general wall dimensions and adding marks (which are not accurate blueprint/layout markings, but are just...what I can do) for the windows and doors.

I am planning on actually getting rid of some of the furniture I do own (like the giant bulky recliner and glide rocker that I didn't really want, but took anyway because I felt guilty saying no since they were my mom and grandma's and they had both passed away that year... sorry, probably tmi...) , so will probably attempt to get measurements for the furniture (mainly a chair...that's it) I plan on getting soon.
It also isn't taking into account shelves. Which I do not actually own many of. And the ones I do own are fairly recent acquisitions that I have yet to figure out placement for.

XP

(Tbh, am also open to furniture/decor suggestions, though I know everyone has varying styles that they prefer. But if I like the look of something, I'd likely add it to a wishlist. Lol)

Update: Not that it's super relevant, but after re-doing my math, turns out my apartment is about 495 square feet. Not the 600-650 I was estimating.
XP
Wow.

Merskelly Metalien 02-04-2020 07:39 PM

I've been wanting to do nothing at all today except to sleep! <x{
So tired. ;_; And have no idea what to do with myself, except try to relax.

trystan830 02-04-2020 08:07 PM

at 6:30 p.m. (about 1/2 hour ago for me) hubby decides to take a nap... erm... but why though?

also, hi!

Kaderin Triste 02-04-2020 09:59 PM

Ah man...am really bored right now, but am at work and have nothing to actually do, so just gotta tough it out for 2 more hours.
Almost wish I had brought a loom project to work on. But that's kind of frowned upon. Even though you can't really see behind the desk on the security camera, so no one would really know...

Biomecha 02-04-2020 11:41 PM

Don't think my tendinopathy issues will ever be "healed" in a sense that I can get back into walking longer distances or running or wearing shoes I actually like. And it's preventing me from doing many other things. And that's after all the resting, icing, eccentric exercises, foam rolling, stretching, avoiding over training in what I can do...all strictly twice a day for over 6 months or more since it's more than one thing we're dealing with. Basically everything you can do to break down the scar tissue and align the collagen cells. And one wrong step off a curb can instantly feel like having it injured again.

Merskelly Metalien 02-05-2020 12:04 AM

I just finished eating before 8:00.
:/ Now I just gotta wait until 10 or 11 to sleep.
<xc Even though I kinda wanna sleep now to escape responsibilities.

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 12:09 AM

So bored right now.....just waiting for person in the clay room to hurry up and get out so I can leave.
Literally just have to lock up the clay room when they leave and turn off the hallway lights on main floor and basement and I am out the door.

Stabbsworth 02-05-2020 09:08 AM

no further screen glitches, had a blast in an in-character server on DST.
vaguely want to start hosting in-character servers again but they'll usually go unappreciated.

I know the feeling... I have a Bennett's fracture in my left thumb, and while the bones have healed, the joint isn't aligned correctly. Even after five years I haven't gotten used to it; I still reach out and pick stuff up with my left hand even if my grip strength can't support it. If I overstress it, my hand hurts for days or even weeks even if I baby it.

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 12:59 PM

According to my image search, it seems to be between 5-7 stars...?
But still looks manageable to fit on a nail.

Nvm. Found the 3 star images. XD
Constellations can be confusing. Some sites will have a huge 10 star constellation and others will have that same constellation simplified with half the stars.
XP
I need to take the time to get some accurate constellations. It may jusy be nail art, but damnit, I want accurate constellations!

February is my least favorite month also.
I've got several reasons as to why I don't like it. >:T

I am glad that it's the shortest month of the year, though!

trystan830 02-05-2020 02:32 PM

actually i don't really mind february. i'm not a fan of July and August, because summer. eww.

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 02:49 PM

I only hate the cramming of valentine's commercialism down our throats (which I hate about all holidays really), but February as a month in general, I have nothing against.

trystan830 02-05-2020 02:52 PM

i work at a craft store, so i see all the commercialism of ALL the holidays, so much fun. but some of it's cute, so.... ;)

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 02:56 PM

Oooohhh...if it's still there, I might buy a little valentine's card box thing we have at JoAnn...for Derpy!
Tbh, I would probably only use it for a cute photo shoot, then never again. But could re-paint it for a funny "send Derpy mail" thing?
Would anyone actually want to send Derpy mail? Is that a dumb idea?

At the very least, I should pick up a little bit of heart fabric for a new skirt for him...
