Ah ok, so you want me to draw the avatar you're having right RIGHT now? *go save avatar so she can draw without having to be on the forum*

Serra Britt 07-04-2011 02:09 PM

Aww Nierra...I'm sorry to hear about your dog >< I had a cat with a broken leg and it cost $1500 for the overnight visit plus getting it fixed...which I did because I adore him. And he hasn't had anything terrible happen to him again and he's wonderful so I don't regret it. It would have been nicer to have it cost less but...Nefer has a lot of good points.

littl3chocobo 07-04-2011 02:11 PM

For those who I spoke with earlier.
My mother made the painful decision to have our dog put down tomorrow. The vet wanted to put her down today, but my mother wanted us to see her one last time. I disappeared suddenly because I went to go lay down with my dog for a bit. So.. yeah.

Sayuri Yukai 07-04-2011 04:41 PM

Hello...

gremlin 07-04-2011 04:45 PM

Hello Yukai.

Sayuri Yukai 07-04-2011 04:53 PM

How are you?

gremlin 07-04-2011 04:55 PM

I'm OK. Other than some bad news, I slept well and ate well. And it's lovely outside.
How are you?

Sayuri Yukai 07-04-2011 05:02 PM

I see.
I'm pretty good. A little tired maybe.

gremlin 07-04-2011 05:30 PM

Perhaps take a nap?

Moonless Midnight 07-04-2011 05:30 PM

Hi there guys ^_^ How are you all doing?

I could certainly be better... but other than that my day has been fine. I slept well, ate well and it's beautiful outside. How are you?

Lauv Keiko 07-04-2011 05:31 PM

O-o what's wrong? If you don't mind my asking that is.

I've explained it a lot, I think... in this thread?
Anyways.
My dog was sick for a month, vomiting and refusing to eat anything ( including treats and cat food ). We brought her to a vet countless times who said she was fine and sent her home. We did blood tests, she got her shots and she even spent a night there on an IV. But she was 'getting better'.
We brought her home, she continued to refuse to eat then vomited. We brought her to a second vet today and they discovered a large lump in her throat. A tumour. The operation is going to cost $3000 and we don't have that. We're putting her down tomorrow.

Lauv Keiko 07-04-2011 05:44 PM

*pokes the moony* haai <3

Moonless Midnight 07-04-2011 05:45 PM

@Nierra: O-o omg....That really is a bummer >.< Also makes me wonder what kind of fail equipment the first vets had if they couldn't detect a tumour in your dogs throat >.>

Are you gonna be alright tomorrow?

@Lauv: O-o *pokes Lauv back*

Reyoki 07-04-2011 05:49 PM

I can understand why you're so bummed, Neirra. A few months ago I had to have my beagle put down. She had been just fine up until about three days prior, or so she'd seemed. Apparently she'd picked up a nasty case of canine lymphoma. Our vet said even if we'd had all the money in the world at our disposal she'd live only maybe a few more months, and even then she'd have been in constant pain. We decided to have her put down out of mercy.

I can't really say if I will be alright or not. I will probably cry a lot and be miserable. There isn't much we can do though and not putting her down... that's cruel. She's suffering and doesn't deserve to suffer. If we didn't put her down she would probably die of starvation because she has been refusing to eat for a few days and that isn't fair to her.

I'm so sorry about your loss. It's terrible when you lose a pet that you love, especially when it isn't their time to go yet.

Rose! *cuddles Rose* Hi!

@Neirra: She was about eleven-ish, so she had only a few more years left at most. I did weep in my room for a couple hours, but then I decided to put on my big girl panties and cope with it. At least she didn't suffer more than she did. I do still miss her, but at least she's not in pain anymore.

Moonless Midnight 07-04-2011 06:00 PM

@Nierra: I know it's the right thing to do. I totally flipped and cried alot when my cats died. Though thankfully they died of old age.

@Rey: Wicked looking new avi ^_^

Mila, my dog, is only six or seven. It's sad, she's still very young. But, I agree with you. My dog won't be suffering anymore, I don't want her to be put down... but no one in my family has $3000 to put towards her operation.

Ah, one of my cats is now thirteen, turning fourteen. I'm really not looking forward for him passing especially since my dog is being put down tomorrow. There's only so much that I can take in at once.

Reyoki 07-04-2011 06:08 PM

Why, thank you, Moon. I just needed to use the new poses for the Companions, that's all.

Anyways, let's stop with all the sad talk! Let's talk about something fun, like desserts!

Moonless Midnight 07-04-2011 06:09 PM

@Nierra:I can totally understand. Since it was 2 out of my 3 cats that died a few years back. One died earlier in the year then the 2nd one died a few months after durring my highschool exams. Thankfully I didn't have any exams on that day. Unfortunatly I was there while my cat was dying petting her and comforting her till the very end T_T She was happy though.

@Rey: lol read that post a bit to late >.<

now I'm starting to get teary eyed

All of my animals are happy, I spoil them. My entire family spoils them, but we also make sure they maintain a healthy weight and are comfortable and y'know... we do whatever we can.

gremlin 07-04-2011 06:11 PM

I'm kinda annoyed because I just discovered a user from Ernya on here who made a Pokemon thread like the one I had on Ernya here.
I was planning to open my thread here but now it won't appear as an 'original' thread.

Yeah, that's the best thing to do....and anyways...switch of topics...

that sucks that there's already a pokemon thread like the one you wanted to start. Is it active though?

gremlin 07-04-2011 06:24 PM

It's on the first page.
I didn't look at the post count or anything.
I know the girl, maybe I can just be a helper around the thread. I'm annoyed, but it isn't like I can make her shut it down and I wouldn't do that anyways.

Rosekitten 07-04-2011 06:27 PM

Nefer 07-04-2011 06:29 PM

Hella everyone!

*goes in a corner and try to stop thinking about next weekend*

Moonless Midnight 07-04-2011 06:29 PM

@Nierra: XD I would never think you'd do that XD It'd be awsome if you can help around that thread though.

@Rose: Welcome back ^_^ How was the rift battle?

@Nefer: What happens next weekend?

Nefer 07-04-2011 06:32 PM

@Moon: I'm suppose to go to Mtl friday night, sleep at a friend's place, then saturday it's Squall's BDay party and they're having a 'casual cosplay picnik' for it, so I gotta start and finish her BDay present ^^; That and sunday I have to help my friend (the one I'm sleeping at) with her Terra cosplay, so I gotta finish mixing all the colors she'll need etc...lot of things to think about @_@

gremlin 07-04-2011 06:34 PM

@ Moon: Since I know her well and she often helps in my thread ( and is also an old trainer for it ) perhaps she will allow me to help her. I could make her a layout and what not.
Ah, but if not then I'll ignore it, it doesn't bother me that much.

gremlin 07-04-2011 06:34 PM

I'm thinking of opening up an Adopt A Newbie thread here once I finish some quests and get more settled. :)
Good idea?
