i guess haha i just started rping again after a few years so im still super rusty. me and my friend on zantarni have been rping a lot lately.

Echo-chan713 12-29-2011 01:39 AM

I've close to never done rp since I suck at it even though in high school i did take a creative writings class

Asami 12-29-2011 01:42 AM

lol im not that great of a writer but! i have a very large vocabulary so it kinda makes up for my lack of writing skills XD not totally just partially xD

Reyoki 12-29-2011 01:43 AM

*cringes* Ick, high school. Teenagers and hormones and angst, no way. I just escaped from that torture four years ago, and I don't feel like reliving it through role-play.

The fantasy bit intrigues me, though.

Echo-chan713 12-29-2011 01:48 AM

I have a pretty good size vocabulary for a 20 year old since when I was young my dad would have encyclopedias he found in dumpsters of homeless shelters in his house so sometimes out of bored ness I would read them. And before that I wasa loner so for me to be alone was reading books so along the way I excelled in reading all by myself and I spoke fluently and without any stalling (only if they have a huge words or a specific type of pronouncation). And with that I excelled in spelling as well, but sometimes the grammar gets me because it's the complex rules it stands by in English language

Sorry for the rant hope that didn't bore you out Q—Q

Asami 12-29-2011 01:48 AM

oh gosh now that im thinking about it i really want to do a fae rp... i love reading fae books. its just a matter of choosing what style of fae to do.
either you can do the traditional seelie/unseelie court business or branch off on your own or do the whole fae have flowers on their backs that go with their seasons and are actually plants or or or!! so many possibilities..

Reyoki 12-29-2011 01:50 AM

How about an elemental fae RP?

Asami 12-29-2011 01:54 AM

sounds good. with summer, spring, fall, winter fae? or like fire, water ectect?

@echo my dad is like a flippen walking dictionary! XD lmao hed help me and my brothers write essays but i guess thats why i suck at writing!

Reyoki 12-29-2011 01:56 AM

Fire, wind, water, and other such elements. I must warn you, though, I'm a bit rusty.

Asami 12-29-2011 02:00 AM

could it incorporate courts? unless you want to do traditional and just go with seelie and unseelie?
like
fire- summer fae
earth- fall fae
wind- spring fae
water- winter fae

actually i think the seelie/unseelie would be more interesting! haha xD its easier that way becasue i mean both of them are evil but seelie represents goodevil and unseelie is badevil xD lol well evil towards humans. O.o im rambling again!

Reyoki 12-29-2011 02:04 AM

Yeah, you lost me there. I'm not quite that knowledgeable about faes. Give me a crash course?

Asami 12-29-2011 02:10 AM

okay! so in tradish(my shorthand will be applied) fae literature. there are two very powerful fae courts. seelie-kinda good in a sense but all fae are evil and tricky and unseelie- the super evil ones! D: meanys. i mean they all look alike but in most people depict unseelie dressed darkly and seelie in bright! clothing. ummm another useful fact is fae cant lie at all. nope but they bend the truth and speak in riddles. its hard to talk to them >> confusing and mean..
ummm ill post a bit more after you respond to this c:

Funkduder 12-29-2011 06:25 AM

Do you read the dresden files? This sounds awfully familiar, and from what I heard, they can never tell lies, but the fae equivocate like a (insert exclamation here).

I was the only one in my family that was good in the English language. My mom is a prodigy at any math

Poggio 12-29-2011 01:46 PM

OUO Omg Asmai I think I love you. I take it you read holy black and perhaps Merry Gentry series? Or Jim Butcher?

@Funk: It is not just the Dreseden files it is all Fae Lore. The Unseelie Court are usually the Fae of Darkness such as Queen Mab, the Seelie are those of light such as Titana the summer Queen and Of course in all lore the Goblin King holds his own court.
