I wish they'd finally do a graphics revamp for FF:VII like we've been promised! The little teaser we got when Square was testing their new graphics engine a while back wasn't enough!

Exactly! For all its flaws, 13 is an absolutely beautiful game. Square could make millions- possibly even billions or trillions- be simply revamping their old titles. They don't have to change any of the content! All they have to do is revamp the graphics and add in voice acting for the ones before 10. Is that really so much to ask for? It looks to me like it'd be a win/win situation.

@Rey: Indeed, it would! Though they seem more interested in revamping their old OLD ones likes FF1, FF3 and FF4 on the psp and the such, with the same type of graphics as before just, well, clearer I guess...I really wished they tried to revamp one with graphics similar to Advent Children or well, even FF10 if necessary! It would be a success considering there would be also a lot of people who would play the old games for the first time as well...

I would be playing the first ones for the first time! =D

@Rey: Lol! Personally I have it on the psp, though I never really finish it completely...as usual with most FF I stop near the end to be sure I managed to get everything ^^;

Though uh...now that I think about it...it's a good thing I actually played it, since I'm COSPLAYING from it xDDD

I would buy them for PSP... but I don't have a PSP. If I did somehow come into ownership of one, I have a list of games I want for it.

@Rey: That's actually the only portable game console I have ^^; Though I don't regret one bit, I love all the games I have on it so far and I can also play some music on it without needing speakers or headphones ^^


@Moon: I actually got FF4 and FF5-FF6 via amazon a couple of months ago, greatest hits are actually easy to find lol!

I have a DS that was given to me as a graduation present a few years ago. It's one of the big 'ol clunky original ones, and I have only 2 games for it.

@Rey: I'd probably only buy FF3 and the KH game on it, that's why I didn't buy it yet ^^; And bah, big old chunky ones are offenly the best, my old PS2 still function perfectly ^^

Okami, OkamiDen's predecessor, was originally on PS2. However, it got a remake on Wii with the motion controller to make drawing easier. Okami 2 is in the works already.

@Rey: Ohhhh, ok I see! I remembered a friend of mine had bought it not long after buying his Wii, so I was actually wondering if he had gotten it for his Wii or DS...but now that you say it exists on the Wii, I'm pretty much sure it was for that console ^^ So I guess he Wii version is better than the PS2 version?

I dunno. I have the PS2 version, and I think it's just fine. It's a pain in the arse when your controller is old and doesn't want to draw a straight line, though. I had to buy a new controller recently for that very reason. It's the first time I've had to do that for my PS2, and I've had it for close to ten years now.

@Rey: Oh youch... I changed mine once I think because it was going berserk on the menus... So I may actually buy it on the wii while been at it lol, will be easier to find it offline that way too ^^;

And now that I looked at my games... I have 8 PSP games, all FF apart from one KH and one Castlevania, no wonder I have so many games to finish xD

Yeah, especially considering that Castlevania games are as tedious as all get out.

No idea, because they want to get more money from their utlimate fans once in a while by making them pay to play it? xD Personally I won't buy it, I haven't buy FF11 for the exact same reason (plus I don't trust my internet enough for that).

And I've finish watching the videos, youch, looks like a painful boss to beat... Why do they always have 3-4 forms at the end, is it just to make you all happy that you finally beat him/her...just to realise nope, not the case, you better heal right now otherwise you're doom?!

@Moon: Urg... Just like those boss who block one more 'command' every time they die or the such... uh...what game was it again? I know there's one... My memory is failling me right now...

I actually hope they'll either make another FF soon after or revamp an old one like FF5 and FF6 who didn't get anything yet...

@Nefer: No, each persona game has their own different characters/team and such. I had no trouble figuring things out. They just all take place within a certain timeline or just in the same general universe that's all.

Same with all the Shin Megami Tensei games

Now if only Nintendo could make their games 'Nintendo's Choice' or whatnot quickier, PlayStation used to make their game best seller within a year, but I bet I'll have to wait at least another 2 years for the new Zelda's price to come down a bit...

And have you tried their website (or bestbuy's website)? Usually it's free shipping when it's over 25$ or something like that, and they're quite fast to ship it.
