@Tam
Now, phishing are those that call saying they got an email about a potential virus on your computer and they need information abut your computer to 'fix' it. The problem with them calling me is that when they make the calls my laptop is not on for months and my dad's computer is set up with his information and not mine. It's like those emails people send to you pretending to be your credit card company so they can steal your credit card information.

Tam I am 01-15-2015 05:59 PM

LMBO Ohhh. I had one of those type once. But they were talking about a device that I didn't even OWN.

ml1201 01-15-2015 08:06 PM

Yeah, they'll basically just call random numbers and see if someone is actually dumb enough to fall for that. ^^;

Lawtan 01-16-2015 04:23 PM

*Waves* I added some Library sources...

Anywho, I'm a-busy working on writing and yelling at Gimp because I don't know how to pursue an artistic path that combines this style with this style and/or these styles

ml1201 01-16-2015 04:26 PM

I can't see the third one, but you could do like in the old cartoon movies where the backgrounds are like the landscape image and then the characters and 'moving' objects are in the other style. That's the only thing I can think of. x'D

Lawtan 01-16-2015 04:28 PM

Sort of the plan, in part...hmm...

(Fixed that link, by the way)

ml1201 01-16-2015 04:42 PM

That one with the buck is just ♥♥♥♥♥!

Tam I am 01-16-2015 05:37 PM

Today I fixed the rip in my coat seam. It only took me about five years to get to it.

Now I remember the one I got. It was about my computer. But what they were saying was so totally NOT my situation that I just freezing scorned 'em and hung up.

Not being a visual artist, I can't imagine how to do it, but I really really wanna see a sample of the result!

ml1201 01-16-2015 05:48 PM

lol, Tam is not one to mess with it seems. XD

Tam I am 01-17-2015 06:48 PM

*sigh* I'm a terrible old grouch way more often than I want to think of.

ml1201 01-17-2015 07:44 PM

You don't seem grouchy to me, I only seen you get annoyed when I called you Sam by accident that one day. x'D

Lawtan 01-18-2015 04:47 AM

If Tam's a grouch, then I'm Bill Gates. (Alias: Tam, as far as I've seen, is one of the least grouchy people I know of)

ml1201 01-18-2015 09:17 AM

Exactly! XD I've never seen her grouchy. XD Though she did get a little made that one day, but I blame lack of sleep and long day at work for that post. x'D

Tam I am 01-18-2015 06:34 PM

LOL! Yes, but you guys have only ever seen me here or on other forums. Den's seen my temper. She knows!

I can indeed confirm it. Granted, I don't think y'all've seen (Tam, included) me lose my temper. I'm told it's a thing to behold, and is scary. >.>;;

ml1201 01-18-2015 06:37 PM

Oh? Then Den needs to tell us about it then! XD

Which one? Tam or me?

ml1201 01-18-2015 08:10 PM

How about both! XD

Den 01-18-2015 09:05 PM

Tam's temper is a cold fury. There's not a lot of yelling, but one can tell when she's mad.

My fury... at first, there's a lot of yelling. That's more me venting my irritation than true anger. If I'm upset at someone and I've been yelling, and then I stop, that's when I'm well and truly angry. I've scared people when I've gotten to that point, according to them. I honestly don't remember what happens after a certain point, which is kind of bad, but at the same time, I don't remember having very many instances where I have a gap in my memory. I try to keep a tight leash on my temper, because I know how devastating anger can be.

Tam I am 01-18-2015 09:13 PM

Oh man. Now I HAVE to buy runes. I want the pretty purple yearlies! XD

ml1201 01-18-2015 09:26 PM

Actually, Den sounds like me when I'm hungry. x'D

Tam I am 01-19-2015 05:31 PM

And now I'm reminded of how I was the other day when I wasn't feeling good. I was griping to a friend as I played Wizard101.

"Hate you, krok."
"Hate you, boss."
"Hate you, my strongest attack card."

At which point I blinked, sighed, and said I needed a nap. The friend agreed.

ml1201 01-19-2015 05:54 PM

lol, in my case my friend treated me to whatever I wanted. XD It was like four in the after noon and I hadn't eaten anything since eight that morning, so my stomach was hurting a LOT because of that. All because my stupid job never gave me a break and they didn't even try to get me out on time for my shift. >.< So I had to go to class after that, they had no more food left in the campus store (yes, even the junk food they normal have was sold out) so I had to because sit through class with only a drink. >.< Not fun to say the least!

Tam I am 01-20-2015 02:13 PM

*sympathetic wince* I'd have been sullen and nasty, or passed out from low blood sugar.

ml1201 01-20-2015 02:29 PM

Luckily I don't have issues with my blood sugar level, but I still have to watch how much sugar I have because I'm so used to having diet stuff now because of my parents that I get sick from too much sugar. x'D And I terrified my friend, he thought I was going to start running people off the road. x'D

Lawtan 01-20-2015 07:04 PM

I sort become quiet and work to "swallow" my anger - lock it away, make myself at least part of the target of the anger, etc. Unfortunately, I do the same with everyone else's anger and flippant remarks, too...if I can't make it better otherwise...

It isn't a good mental mechanism...needs updating to "Fist through the Wall 2.0"

ml1201 01-20-2015 07:14 PM

I surprised my bosses when after hires if we had prick customers that day I'd start swearing, which they never expect from me because I seem so sweet and bubbly. Well, at my previous job anyways, don't do that at my current job because I think I'd have several heads turning. x'D

Lawtan 01-20-2015 07:26 PM

Ah! I save swearing for inanimate objects that hurt your thumbs. *Looking at you, hammer*

ml1201 01-20-2015 08:14 PM

When I mean prick customers, I mean ones that don't give a hoot about you and its always 'me, me, me, me' to them. And on top of that insulting me and treating me like trash. Yep, retail can do that to you. ^^;

Lawtan 01-21-2015 12:51 AM

I don't really understand the point of customers insulting retail. Even when someone does so poor a job as to make you never come back...that's it, you just don't use the store anymore.

ml1201 01-21-2015 01:09 AM

It's not really so much of what I did, they just have a bad attitude and take things out on us. I had one customer that argued with a manager for half an hour about trying to get these plastic cups with lids for a buck when they are priced for five. She didn't have any proof that the store she claimed to have seen them at had them for that price. On top of that she purposely pulled the tags off of all of them and the reason why we know it was on purpose was because fifteen cups just don't magically not have a tag on them when they are shipped with tags on them stuck to the bottom. She was also dumb enough to leave them sitting right on the shelf where they were stocked too. But to be honest that's not the first time that customer tried to pull something like that, the first time she was trying to buy a cushion from a patio set that wasn't sold separately and the manager on duty told her such. She brought the cushion up anyways because she thought she could be slick and trick me into selling her one. The manager though caught me on the way back and saw the cushion I had and told me what happened, so I told the customer that its from a set and cannot be sold separately. We also had people pulling tags off some things and sticking them on other more expensive items, I've actually had several like that and I had to explain to the customer that the item was miss tagged because its not even coming up like its supposed to (example would be a picture frame that's 5x3 is what's ringing and its a 8x11 frame). Then they get in a huff at me and say I have to give it to them at that price and then I have to call the manager up to tell them no because they are calling me stupid/idiot about the whole thing. Sorry, not losing my job over this and for all I know they could have been the ones to switch the tags like that, it wouldn't surprise me considering that store lost out on anywhere from $20-$100 at least a night in shrink.

Lawtan 01-21-2015 01:44 AM

e.0

...Every day I learn more about the neverending pile of crap people make for people...

I am sorry that the customers are like that.

ml1201 01-21-2015 08:17 AM

I'm out of there now, and no need to be sorry if you don't do it yourself. XD I've actually had people who've seen me there see me at my new job and ask if I was going to continue working at the other place and I told them no. x'D Besides the customers I had to put p with some similar bull with one of the managers and I was getting too stressed by it. ^^;

Tam I am 01-21-2015 05:17 PM

And I'm the doofus that runs back to a place where I'm known and goes, "You never charged me for this one!" *pause* "Do I get an honesty discount?" The question comes up because the first time I did something like that, they did give me one.

I sent you someone to beat up, Law. LOL

ml1201 01-21-2015 05:38 PM

I've actually caught one of my old coworkers ringing me up twice by accident, but it was because the register was being stupid. x'D They sometimes ring things twice for no reason, they don't even beep from the second ringing either like its supposed to.

The monster is soft, so can't get hurt! And maybe he/she loves to fly? You could try tossing them. XD

Oh yeah. Think you would ever share a picture? I couldn't get one before I sent the monster, because my picture thinger is gone.

So Perceptor-car is broken until Tuesday. I'm driving Mom's car until then and I miss my car.
