You did one once? Neat!
XD I just liked that the video was done by the guy who introduced them in that area, and was making jobs for people and stuff with them. The introduction was even helping girls to go to school because they didn't have to take the veggies in every day, and having more to sell gave their family more money for school for kids. When I was young there were times when my family lived really rough, and without real electricity. Here, we use an ice chest, or just stick the food outside on cold winter days, if the fridge isn't available, but in the hot and dry areas, those aren't options. lol </nerd> Here are some articles. 1 2 I like the first article. It explains some things that are interesting to me. |
That would also be good for someone who doesn't use electricity too. XD
|
Only in a hot and non-humid area.
|
Well, true. Maybe some place like Arizona, which I have family there. x'D
|
Would proly work there, especially if it were breezy.
|
Well, they live in the dessert, so no idea how breezy it is there. x'D
|
Deserts and breezes move not in one sphere.
|
So there is only one 's' in desert. x'D Why does there have to be two words with identical spell except with double one letter? *sigh*

English! \o/
(Translation: the closest thing to Western Pidgin/tradespeak while still being a comprehensible language) |
I found a quote I like:
"If there is a problem somewhere, this is what happens. Three people will try to do something concrete to settle the issue. Ten people will give a lecture analyzing what the three are doing. One hundred people will commend or condemn the ten for their lecture. One thousand people will argue about the problem. And one person- only one- will involve himself in the true solution that he is too busy to listen to any of it. Now... which person are you?" Father Longère Quote:

I like that quote, Tam...
I want to be the one person, or one of the three...but not there yet... |
I think I'd be one of the three if I don't know the solution or a plausible solution anyways. ^^;

I wish laundromats had hot water and tea. I'm sitting here waiting for our clothes to dry and I'm parched.
|
And the drinks are outragously priced, so no good getting a drink there. I'm lucky since the one near where I live has a BigLots just a few doors down, so if I need a drink for a buck or less I can get one. XD
|
Of the different groups, I'm usually the one over telling somebody causing the issue off and getting sneered at for it. I never thought I'd wind up the calm fury type back when I was a kid that exploded and screamed and cursed.
Ginger, did you survive? *sympathy* |
Two more sleeps, then I'm back living in Iowa, under the 'rents' roof.
|
Err...What now? (is confused about how you're basing time, but understands the rented place thing)

Okay, then I didn't understand any of it. x'D When I had first read that I thought it was two more days of you traveling while asleep before you got there. o///o

(Not really meant for commentary...just for some reason typing it reduces the my stomach's churning)

x'D
Too bad you can't filter gifs out of that search. ^^; |
Pictures are horrAble! Like I can go through squeams-inducing text in a screwed-up novel because you can skip lines/paragraphs and not imagine while you read, but with images and movies there's no escape!:s-sick:

*read Lawtan's spoiler* *is now passed out on the floor*

Well, it has helped me develop a character better, as well, so... |
Yeah, no? Not going to do that for any of my characters, or at least not willingly. x'D

(First page has the Library bit - it's decently big)
(Also, wish I knew where to begin doing research with Africa and Eastern Europe/Middle East...as in non-Levant/non-Mediterranean Persia...Considering the former is a continent of many different cultures, and the latter has had more invasions than I can think of...) |
Begin in the middle.

Oh, Tam, I want to make sure its a tea spoon for the baking soda and vinegar for the shampoo and conditioner?

Welcome!
Also, I really wish one could block telemarketer/donation seeker calls the way one can block people on the net. |
That would be nice, what with all the phishing calls I get. =.=;

Phishing calls? Is that the ones that there's nothing there but a machine?
