Not sure it can be fully normal, but there can be a major protection thing, there, especially in the beginning.

Imagine a little kid with their favorite toy. They'll pamper it and protect it with their life. It likely couldn't go beyond that point, as then one crosses into the less severe parts of this spectrum...

Hmm...

ml1201 12-17-2014 06:05 PM

At least we're giving you some ideas. XD

Lawtan 12-17-2014 06:07 PM

Thank you both - sorry I didn't say that sooner.

ml1201 12-17-2014 07:14 PM

lol, its okay. XD We know you are thinking over the ideas and appreciate it. =^_^=

*nod nod!* Something like that!

And maybe the little kid has no idea what she's really doing, and thinks she's a wonderful angel who saved their life or something.

daikokunyo 12-28-2014 04:03 AM

*hugs Law*
Aww gonna miss you, and me too! :p-frown:
Lurking is the funnest thing to do on Trisphee esp when you're stalking a particular user for no particular reason but I'll have to stop doing things for no particular reason for like MONTHS for cram studying :p-dead:

Lawtan 12-28-2014 01:06 PM

Sort of doing the same - have programming, Calculus 2, drawing, writing...and hopefully at some point I'll have a Youtube channel (For gaming, random projects, art, and rasing funds for people who need it)...and I need to do that before January 2...

Tam I am 12-28-2014 03:10 PM

YES! Trisphee is back. Did anyone else notice it being gone yesterday?

ml1201 12-28-2014 07:51 PM

It was down for me too, I poked DK on another site and I think she might have finally been able to get in contact with Coda. :3 Also, I don't know if you knew this Law but nincompoop is an actual word! :D

daikokunyo 12-29-2014 09:59 AM

*is all excited* so is 'daddock'!
It's an archaic word meaning 'center of a rotten tree' but I use it as a creative slang word for... well... maybe you can guess. :p-glance:

Tam I am 12-29-2014 05:59 PM

Of course nincompoop is a word. You thought it wasn't? </english geek>

Ugh, I feel bluggy. Take my advice, friends. Don't hit walls with your head. No, I didn't do it on purpose. No, no goose egg. Yes, there is a bruise. Yes, there were witnesses.

Also, do people really play things like this for fun?

ml1201 12-29-2014 06:45 PM

@lioness
I didn't know that either. o.o; I never heard of that term before.

@Tam
Er...I didn't think it was, I thought it was slang. x'D And unfortunately yes, crazy people have 'fun' playing that game. My brother is sadly one of them, he saw your name and thought it said 'Tan I am.' *facepalm*

*Gives Tam an icepack*

Umm...I played the first two nights as a way to relax before final exams...

Also, I didn't know nincompoop was an actual word, though I did know daddock was one (don't recall it's meaning, though). I wonder where the origin of both came from...

ml1201 12-29-2014 10:21 PM

I have no idea, I don't even know the original meaning, I just know what people usually use it for. x'D

daikokunyo 12-30-2014 04:56 AM

@Tam I haven't played it but apparently it relies more on psychological horror, like making you expect something horribly gory to happen any second, than actually making horrible stuff happen, to scare you. That's gotta make it better than a lot of the other horror games out there, right? (Mind you, I'm still not into scares for the sake of scares, I need unpleasant stuff to have a point besides unpleasantness so I don't think I'm ever going to play it.)
I like the songs though, both 1 and 2. They're catchy. :p-sweat:

@ml I knew 'nincompoop' was a word, I learnt it from Calvin and Hobbes when I was more of a kid than I am now xD.

ml1201 12-30-2014 10:33 AM

I never really got to read the comics from the paper as a kid to be honest. We almost never got the paper when I was little and we don't get it at all now. x'D

daikokunyo 12-30-2014 12:04 PM

You don't get a newspaper?! That's so weird and cool O.O
How do you get all your news? Online?

ml1201 12-30-2014 12:44 PM

My parent's just watch the news and sometimes read things through their email thing. We have AOL and Comcast for our emails. Personally I only read things if I see them and find them interesting. x'D

Different origins, I'd say, from the shape of the words. Nincompoop really doesn't look like it came from olde English. Looks Victorian.

I've lived with that sort of tension in RL, so I can't say it's better than other kinds. I prefer being able to go confront what's scaring me. Mind you, a lot of what people call horror doesn't scare me. Show me gore, and I'm disgusted and bored, from years of butchering my own meat. Show me something suffering, and I'm not scared, I'm just sick and tearful. Show me a monster jumping out of the darkness, and I'm either laughing, or wanting a tire iron.

...Did someone say something about "crazy"? LOL

LOL! My family didn't get a paper when I was growing up, and I don't either. Partly for the same reason. My dad and I are both allergic to the smell of newsprint ink.

ml1201 12-30-2014 04:04 PM

Now that's a first, but not something unexpected. o.O I've never heard of anyone being allergic to the ink until now. o.o

daikokunyo 12-31-2014 04:55 AM

I'm allergic to aubergine and Dettol soaps. Not so weird and cool. :s-ugh:

ml1201 12-31-2014 09:30 AM

What's 'aubergine' and soaps are actually one of the most common things to get allergies to because of the ingredients used for it.

Tam I am 12-31-2014 02:47 PM

Aubergine is eggplant. I can't have it either, though not because of allergies.

I told a friend I'd want to solve the problem on that Freddy's game with a tire iron, and she shared her theories and comments on the game backstory:

I have to say. I kinda envy little kids who get to be so innocent. I and my siblings knew all about death even before we could read.

ml1201 12-31-2014 06:05 PM

I have no idea what the golden freddy is. o.o; And I hadn't quite learned to read yet when I watched RoboCop, but I was starting to. x'D (what I learned about death from)

Tam I am 12-31-2014 10:33 PM

We learned from seeing real things get killed.

daikokunyo 01-01-2015 04:16 AM

I don't remember when I learnt about death (so it must've been pretty early on) but I don't really remember a time when I was really innocent. I was reading Enid Blyton by the time I was five so... yeah XD. I kept things from my mom and friends right from when I was that small, maybe even before, because I started developing my own ideas pretty quick and stopped accepting everything parents or teachers said unlike my peers. I was one lonely kid haha!

ml1201 01-01-2015 11:39 AM

I was lonely because I kind of stuck out for several reasons. ^^;

Tam I am 01-01-2015 03:33 PM

I was the kid whose parents read porn out loud, or enacted it with me in the room, and who butchered pigs and chickens, and who shot or clubbed cats. Just GUESS how much I stuck out when I finally got to public school.

Also, I hereby boycott Yahoo. It's impossible for me to ever get back into my account after I get a new computer, and their "customer service" is a fiction.

ml1201 01-01-2015 03:42 PM

o.O
What grade were you in when you started?

Lawtan 01-01-2015 05:30 PM

O.o

The death thing, I understand, as well as reproduction. If one of your parents is a biology teacher, or you live on a farm/around animals...that is kind of inevitable. Most animals live a shorter time than people...and they tend to not care if a person they don't see as a threat is trying to feed them when they...*coughs*

It's the parents enacting and reading porn in front of a child part that has me surprised.

And yeah, Yahoo is bad except for Yahoo Answers...and that is akin to asking Youtube for help.

On another note, Humor!

Well, some say that this is based on a Chuck E. Cheese employee losing it after being fired and shooting his fellow employees after closing...and that the programmer received criticism that his art style was too "wooden/doll-like/robotic"

Tam I am 01-01-2015 10:27 PM

LOL! Yeah, you think?

This is neat. Do you think it's library material?

Lawtan 01-02-2015 02:17 PM

Oh, I remember those things! Mine broke lol.

While the video may not, I'll look up something that describes the design and some information on it. :)
