i think dk is afraid of the sun
|
I used to not like being out in the sun, now I really want to be in it. o.o
|
no i mean that dk has a phobia...
|
I don't much like the feel of it. Being of Nordic descent doesn't help. My dad is the same way.

I don't like bugs either... oh and I know the answer to the riddle
|
lucky for you XP
dk i like fireflies and lady bugs and butterflies~ but i HATE ants with a passion! |
answers to riddles are PMed to me ploxes! ouo
I like catapillers and butterflys too ouo |
I like all insects. They're so pretty. <3
And although they're not insects, but people think they are (even though they really arent!) I like spiders too. :'D |
bugs apply to all the creepy crawlies =w=
and while spiders arent insects they are related which is why people think them as insects. Insects and Arachnids are both under the class Arthropoda, hence why people group them together. BUT Bugs involve ALL arthropoda ouo buut i like spiders and catch them and keep them as pets when they invade the territory of mine or moms bedroom *u* |
DK likes spiders too? 8D
Sweet! It's not often that I come across another that likes spiders!! >w< |
i like the fuzzy ones.. oxo they are cute.. as long as they are in their cage
|
I like tarantulas. >w<
They're so adorable! <3 But when it comes to pets...snakes, lizards, and certain dogs are at the top of my "pets I want most" list. :3 |
Cats, dogs, hamsters are my top 3
|
What dog breeds do you like, DK?
|
Dogs mostly here. I'm contemplating cats, but too many people I know are alergic to them and they still make me nervous a little. Was patting my neighbour's cat and she grabbed my hand. Nothing agressive, but I could feel his nails just peeking out his paws.
Rats better than hampsters! Cleaner I find, less prone to tossing shavings outside of their cage, and don't make a racket in the middle of the night! Not that I object too much to my hampster though. He was quite the adventuerer. My rat usually hung out behind the fishtank. |
So, wait... you had a fish tank inside your rat cage?
|
No, we would let the rats out (mine and my sister's). They would wander around, so long as at least one person was in the room to keep an eye on them. If we lost one, they were usually behind the fishtank. I guess they liked it there. My sister's rat was curled up sleeping in a blanket ones when we lost him, and mine was found in a clothes shelve when I accidentally left the cage door open. (Only had him for a couple of days then). He came out when I was rifling through the room looking for him.
I couldn't put my hampster down or he was off across the room like a shot. Looked away from him once and he got himself stuck in the heat vent (which wasn't on). Had to lower a ladder from his cage down into it so he could grab on and lift him out. I still can't believe he fit through the grate. My hampster was also much less keen on being held or shoulder-riding than the rats were. |
What kind of dog breeds do you like, Quiet?
|
I had a hamster once... well, it was actually my brother's, but I was the only one who had room for it. The stupid little furball kept escaping from its cage in the middle of the night and chewed holes in the clothes in my dirty clothes hamper!
|
Oh! I know what the new cat breed on the front page, first post is!! >w<

*goes to Google image "shiba inu" to see what it looks like*
... Omg, it's soooooooooooo cute!!! <3 I want one now!! >w< That, and a frenchie as well as rescuing some greyhounds. >w< |
Shiba inu are adorable, but I think I'll always have a cocker spaniel. I've had one ever since I got my first surgery, so it's a special breed to me.
|
Cockerspaniels are cute, though I hope yours isn't super duper hyperactive like the one a family friend owns. >.>
Cause at one point when it was younger, it would just urinate EVERYWHERE. Especially when it was excited. Like even a little bit excited it'd be urinating everywhere as quickly as a cheetah runs! D: |
Nah, both of mine have been very mild-mannered. The black one I had before had a nasty temper at times, though. He was very protective of me.
|
Aww, that's so sweet of it. >w<
But lucky you, having much more calm cockerspaniels. #whatarelief |
Yeah, he really was great, and now he's buried in our backyard. He lived to a ripe old age of 16, though.
|
When/if we move we'll be getting a shiba inu. they aren't big but aren't small either ouo perfect for a new owner x3

I'm impressed with him. :3 |
We took good care of him. He was my sweet Blackie. We have another cocker now, though. His name is Buddy, and his fur is a light brown color.
|
That's good to hear that he was able to live such a great, happy life. :] Do you have a picture of Blackie (btw, loved how you used -ie suffix over the -y suffix) so that I can see him? >w<
That sounds great! What's Buddy like? And do you have a picture of him as well? >w< |
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of either of them... that I can access for posting. Blackie died before we got a digital camera, and I can't get to the scanner to scan the hard copy photos. I have a couple digital pics of Buddy, but I don't remember which flash drive I put them on.
|
Aww, that sucks. D:
Poor Blackie, unable to see a digital camera. Poor little guy. :'( Well, if you ever remember where you put your Buddy pictures, I'd love to see them. :] |
I like spaniels. We had an English Springer when I was younger but she had to be out down at 6 due too temperament problems. It's common in spaniels unfortunately, so they need to be checked for line health. I loved my Cavie, and migth get another but I'd like to check out either a Clumber or Tibetan spaniel as well.
I like Huskies too but my lifestyle doesn't suit them. I'd love a Borzoi one day. There's just something I really like about them, the sort of lax, pouty look but regal if they put the effort in. ;). Again though, there is soem lifestyle issues there. They are runners. I think I'd like to do lure coursing with one. I'm starting to like boxers too, having met a couple now. They're sweet. :) I'd love a big dog. I had a Great Pyranese as a kid (before we got the spaniel) and grew up with a Great Dane in the house when I was a baby, but I can't manage a dog like that if it ever got unruly. I have no problem with my sister's mastiffs, but they are well trained and behaved, but I do have snags if they decide to be stubbourn. They are simply too heavy for me to do anything with them if they decide they don't want to do something. |
Birthday party jam session! Been drawing here while some of the guys have guitars and drums going, while the ladies are chatting and breakign out into song occasionally. Co-oincidentally, did anyone know that you can use the melody from "Stray Cat Strut" to sing "The Cat Came Back?"
