@Lawtan, In the RP, I like to plan out a rough sketch timeline on whats going to happen to the characters, Like, Where they start out and where they end up but the in between completely improvised, That way if there is a problem with figuring out where to go next we have a rough idea of where that is.

@Tam- I guess you could call it DMing.. I mean like I told lawtan its more of a like a general direction I would like it to go, something we would both sit down and plan out. If that makes sense?

LOL And me, I tend to lead people through the story, knowing a few points I'd like to touch, and telling the others those points sometimes, but also asking what the other player would like for their character. And many times I play as the foil, so that the other player can have something happen for their character or do a story that they want. I... LOL I don't even write down a plan for the novellas I've written.

I just like to have options open, It keeps the rp alive in my opinion.

And I can sort of agree with that...biggest issues I have RP-wise are understanding the mechanics (so, often I don't have the right material - bring a gun to a laser cannon fight, or nonmagical herbs to a futuristic hospital) and not realizing the full setting (France, not Britain, or a mad/dead world rather than a gang/opressive world)

(So, yeah, I prefer some planning)
